Morning all.

Just wanted to say something about Saturday. Obviously, we know you were all robbed. Miles miles miles the better team on the day, and a better team over the season, five more points, loads more goals, better, more exciting football etc.

I won’t say I wasn’t thrilled to have won, but the manner of it was somewhat embarrassing, seeing as how the game had gone.

But what I really wanted to say was that Derby County revealed itself to be a truly classy club on Saturday. From the brilliant performance by your fans, to the unbelievable show of sportsmanship from the players and management, who stayed on the pitch to applaud in what must have been almost unbearable circumstances.

I’d also like to apologise for the small minority of idiots who booed when the announcer asked for commiserations to Derby after the match. I assure you it was a small minority, and they don’t speak for the rest of us.

I hope you have the season you deserve next year, and go up automatically. If you keep your squad together, you certainly should do. I, for one, will be looking for Derby results from now on.

Anyway, you can console yourselves with the fact that we’ll probably break your Prem Lge low points record…!

Best wishes for next season.

PS Why did Hughes get taken off? I think he’s phenomenal.

Thanks pal.

Thought we deserved better, but that's football. Exactly what happened in 2007 when we beat WBA against the run of play.

Nothing against QPR - although we dominated, we couldn't put 10 men away despite being all over them for half an hour, and the catalogue of errors that lead up to your goal, well, it beggared belief.

All the best next year mate.

Cheers pal, I personally wish you guys all the best for next year and I certainly don't hold a grudge or anything. Let's face it the wage bill and general spending at any club isn't the fans' fault and yet this seems to be the catalyst for a lot of bad feeling toward QPR fans.

It was terribly disappointing and I still feel shell shocked but hey that's football - "funny old game" as some fat londoner used to say.

We've a lot to look forward to next year

Staffs - agree about the errors. For me, it's the two defenders out on the left who dithered and allowed Junior Hoilett (HOILETT?!) to force his way past who are more culpable than poor Keogh, who the ball came to very quickly. Tough to focus on mistakes when the team performed so well, though.

Smalley, agree re: wage bill, but then we've always loathed Chelsea for their free-spending, so can't begrudge others if they do feel that way. What truly appalls most Rs fans is the idea that we might now go further down the hugely-overpaid has-beens line with Rio and Frank. Say it ain't so, 'Arry!

I hear you, Don.

On that subject, do you think you guys should have tried to use your pace a bit more? Dunne and Hill have turning circles and accelleration of an oil tanker, but there was a fair amount of slinging aerial balls in, which suits them. I thnk we'd have been in (even more) trouble if you'd run at us more (as with the penalty).

Incientally, I love Clint Hill, but any Rs fan who thinks he could have hobbled over to cut out Russell's run is delusional.

No bitterness here towards the QPR fans and the excitement they will feel at another prem tilt.

There have only been a small handful games this season where I look back and think "we weren't quite at it". Unfortunately, this happened to be one. Maybe it was Dunne's nous in keeping Martin out of the danger zone. Maybe its that our game is quite "high risk" in terms of being built on lots of one-touch lay-offs to pacy through runners and if they don't work..... And as most Rams know, our defence doesn't as a rule keep clean sheets.

That owner Fernandes tho' - he's trying to offload a failing F1 franchise for something like £350m? is he lining up another major cash pile for 'arry, or is he a bit "cash-flow challenged"?

Theoretically yes, however after the sending off QPR sat very deep in 2 compact banks of 4. There really was no where to run and any tight passing would have been (and was) cut out without too much trouble (bar perhaps Dawkin's effort).

Our crossing on the day really didn't work but even those times when we did get it in the right areas there was no one there to attack the ball. I think we went to the wings too often because that's where the space was, but as soon as we ran at the box we were closed down and left with no option other than to cross...which the QPR defence dealt with no problem.

I wanted us to be more direct through the middle, it seemed at times that we wanted to walk the ball into the net. I wanted us to take shots from the edge of the area. Bringing Bamford on sooner and engourage Thorne, Hendrick and Bamford to shoot (they've all scored long shots recently). Yes it was congested in the area but that could mean that even the most mis-hit shot could deflect into the net.

I really don't think we took shots when we had the chance!!

There have been a few QPR fans on here of late and most like u have been decent knowledgeable guys, as is my father in law who is a Rangers fan too. After the game we were both in shock, and our conclusion was that that goal was just meant to be, the sequence of events leading to it were unbelievable and to be so late.... it was ordained by a higher force, and there was a reason for it ! Well thats the only way I can be 'at peace' with such a 'miracle'.

The reason for it will make itself apparent next season : )

Hang on minute how were Derby "robbed" and "miles miles miles the better team on the day" I've never heard so much rubbish. The game was pretty much even up until the sending off. Then we sat back 'parked the bus' as you would expect from a team with only ten men. Derby then had more of the ball but no cutting edge and ran of ideas. Put simply, their attack failed to break down a very good defence and we managed to score one of the two excellent chances we created. And we did it with ten men. We earned our win.

We had one significant idea just before the sending off. Bursting into the box, about to pull the trigger, and then the foul worth over £100,000,000 comes in from that dirty ******* Gary O'Neil...? You know... the foul that led to the sending off in the first place? We had you in that second half. And the chance that Jamie Ward slammed towards the bottom corner but it just hit Chris Martin. If Martin wasn't there, that was a certain goal. I was right behind that goal, pretty much bottom row and I could see clear as day. And how can you say we had no ideas? All your players knew how to do prior to the goal was smack it off target. We defended well for 85 minutes and never gave you a sniff, and it took an unfortunate switch off in defence for you to win. I have NO CLUE how you can call that earning a win.

I had swarms of QPR fans come up to me after the game and tell me that it was clearly a robbery. I had neutral fans across London saying exactly the same.

I think it is you talking rubbish pal. Don't test me, I'm still very bitter.

It's only robbery if you look at it in terms of possession and half-chances.

In terms of scoring goals and not making calamitous fook-ups, then I'm afraid they had the better of it.

Harsh pill to swallow, for sure, but you can't really blame QPR for our inability to a) score against ten men in over half an hour, and b) clear our lines given multiple opportunities to do so.

Just saying.....

Oh come on now, give the guy a break he makes some valid points.

I was particularly impressed with the way they created their second "excellent chance" in the 90th minute leaving us with no chance of replying.

A tactical masterstroke that!

My personal experience of the QPR fans was very poor. We had to hang around outside the ground waiting for a friend after the game and loads and loads of QPR fans were goading us, chanting at us, coming into our faces to say 'what was the score' as we made our way down wembley way QPR fans leaning over the wall above aimed spit in our direction, ungraceful in victory doesn't even come close. Have never had any interest in the club and never will, but one things for sure the disgraceful behaviour of the fans I saw will be something I wont forget.

Wasnt really the same against WBA. Cant remember Bywater having much to do, a couple of saves. Their keeper had a couple of saves too one finger tip save from Oakley. This time, Grant never touched the ball except for goal kicks and picking the ball out of the net. Green made quite a few good saves. We had 68% of the possession, it was one of the most one sided games I have ever seen, although 5 shots on target was not enough for all the superiority we showed, even so more than the one one they had.Unfortunately their one shot on goal went in, our five didnt. Ah well that's football.
