#Iknowpeopleinlondonthathaveseasonticketsandtoeverygame

London is 126 miles, Redcar is 135, so not a lot in it.

Also, I've worked in Ireland for 6 out of the last 15 years - still had a season ticket, still went to the matches.

If you click on his profile first thing he's not posted that he hasn't got a ticket, maybe he has and went out yesterday to celebrate?

Second he has a website linked to his profile, Redcar design which is based in Derbyshire.

Carry on with the hashtags tho I'm enjoying them

The people banging on about how they have bought away tickets seem to forget one thing and that is that they haven't been Derby county customers when doing this in fact they have been spending money on a competitors product as it is the home team that keep the gate receipts (with the exception of cup ties)

So the scheme ran by the club rewards their own customers season tickets holders have spent the most with the club followed by those who have bought a membership and lastly those who occasionally buy tickets.

All the club need is a Tesco Clubcard style reward system.

5pts per game you attend home and away (ST holders have them all added at the start of the season)

2pts everytime you spend over £50 in the club shop

Scrap the membership ******, for the big games you can say you need x amount of points to buy tickets first. Reward cards reset after each season.

Great idea Daveo, I know, I'm full of them.

could you sell said reward cards on ebay.....

building on Daveo's idea, each game shouldn't be worth the same amount of points.

For example, you shouldn't receive the same amount of points for sheff weds/leeds/forest etc away on a saturday as you would receive for say Yeovil away on a Tuesday evening or something.

Also it should be based on the previous season's points not the current season's points as what happens if a highly sought after away fixture occurs really on in the season? (first or second away game)

We are all forever learning and there are definitely points to be learned (both extremely good and maybe not so good) from the ticket distribution for both fans and the club. This thread alone has highlighted different approaches adopted by other clubs to 'fairer' distribution to the fans who put most into the club via season tickets, game packages, buying home and away game tickets etc.

This week there will be increasing seethe expressed through media, social media, fans forums by a high number of Derby fans who through no fault of their own (have Customer No./ have attended many home and/or away games) have missed out. This seethe will be fuelled when these fans find out there are work colleagues or friends/mates of colleagues who have obtained a ticket despite many not having seen Derby play at all ever never mind this season, don't have Customer No.s , never bought a ticket in their life and wouldn't know that PP is now iPro.

Phase 2 on Saturday exacerbated this. Why were the people guaranteed a ticket in Phase 1 allowed to also fill their boots in Phase 2? What have these done with their extra tickets?; passed them onto good, true regular attending Derby supporters or in a lot of cases onto 'Glory Hunters' and 'Plastics' otherwise known as family, mates, mates of mates, neighbours or unknowns?

Some of the stuff coming out from the Club via Twitter about a small number of fans '' trying to take liberties' whether right or wrong, will not, I suspect, be hugely appreciated by many fans who have missed out and who may prefer it if the Club instead acknowledged there have been issues with trying to ensure fairness in distribution and when the dust settles the Club will be reviewing its distribution approach in future.
