Boycie
We're returning the hospitality at the iPro, flat beer, overpriced food, and long queues.
ossieram
We're returning the hospitality at the iPro, flat beer, overpriced food, and long queues. I'd hope that we would sell a southern drink just to return the favour! Shandy can't be that hard to get hold of.

LanguedocFox
I don't think this has been posted, but apparently the Tube strike planned for the end of this week has been called off: http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-london-27282596. It's much quicker going to Brighton from Victoria (take the Victoria Line tube directly from King's Cross-St Pancras) than using the stopping service from St Pancras. NewquayRam
What's the situation with the train to Falmer from Brighton if you haven't got your match ticket with you? I'm driving from Cornwall and meeting friends at the ground who are going by coach and will have my matchday ticket.
BrightonEye
If you don't have your ticket, you'll need proof of purchase - eg the confirmation email if you were collecting from the Amex. Otherwise it's unlikely they'll let you travel for free.
derbydan
I'm working down south on the wednesday & stopping in brighton driving back after the game if anyone doesn't want to get the train / coach back I have spare room £10 each drop you off in derby after (saves me money & will be quicker than coach / train ;-) )
NewquayRam
But I assume I can pay to get the train from Brighton to Falmer then? It's not a football special, matchday ticket only thing? Sorry for questions, it's just I've never been to the Amex before and don't fancy having a big nightmare trying to get my car somewhere considering I then have the best part of a 6 hour drive home. JoetheRam
You can still buy a ticket for the trains from Brighton to Falmer - there's always been some civvies on it going to Lewes or wherever whenever i've got on it before.
Yukon Artist
After 6.30pm there is a queing system in place at brighton station on matchnights for trains to falmer platforms 7 and 8 , the trains are rammed and it would take the guard all night and a sherman tank to check for tickets so they dont bother . sussexbornandbred
Agree with above, never been asked yet, in 3 years to produce a ticket, from 6 onwards the trains are pretty full. Enjoy...
Guest
Ok so I'm leaving london at around 5, I'm guessing the best place to get train is Victoria as I'm at Liverpool street, will I make it in time given there is another train I need to get at brighton? I presume I'm reading this right, I'm not the cleverest.....
23081986
Yeah, I'm planning to go from Victoria around half five and should get to Falmer at about ten to seven, going via Lewes.
