DERBY County's head of European scouting Mo Camara was in Poland at the weekend to watch Legia Warsaw play Lech Poznan.

Camara might have been monitoring Lech Poznan's midfielder Karol Linetty.

The 19-year-old made his full international debut for Poland against Norway in January.

May be Camara was watching Slovakian under-21 international midfielder Onrej Duda, the 19-year-old who started for Legia, or Polish winger Jakub Kosecki, who came on as a substitute.

Wont be him, he signed a new contract in December for 2 more years

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/barry-douglas/profil/spieler_91854.html

Contract until 6/15 according to this......with the option of another year.

But might be able to talk to other clubs in jan 2015

Therefore a small fee in summer 2014?

Who knows.

Nice work if you can get it.

Being paid to travel around europe watching footy matches.

And if derby aren't interested in the players you spot, you could always tip the wink to other clubs for a small fee.

is it just me or does "DERBY County's head of European scouting Mo Camara" seem an implausible statement?

Why?

Are you saying that in order to spot a good player you have to have been one?

Camara's seen plenty of good players during his career - usually dribbling past him.

Also, Steve McClaren was a journeyman player - but he's one hell of a coach.

It is a bit of a strange one.

He's seen plenty of shiit players going past him too.

Linetty is apparently touted as the "new Modric" and has been scouted by Man United and many more prem clubs

Alen halilovic is the new Modric.

Didn't Mo Camara play for Wolves when Chris Evans was there?

Jobs for the old boys.

As opposed to jobs for the old paperboys?
