sage
not sure if pulling my leg, but yeah the set (Gotham) isn't that far from there It's called Goathland. If you are in that area, the best pub in England (IMO) is 1/2 mile away at Beck Hole.

Mostyn6
I've been meaning to go back to Sennen Cove in Cornwall for about 20 years and have never got around to it.
eddie
Blackpool keeps drawing me back. It was the first seaside place I ever went to as a kid, and I've always liked it for a 2 or 3 day break (spending a few days there after Middlesbrough away and taking in Blackpool away next month). Now if we're talking 'proper' UK holidays for a week or so, then I'd choose somewhere like Oban. Then again, if I wanted to go somewhere for a week, then Belgium, Holland or Denmark every time please.
Gritstone Ram
Newquey Cornwall for sea side but my two favorite places in England are the Derbyshire Dales and Yorkshire Dales two lovely places.
