The Argentinian star could earn up to £25 million per year at the Etihad, as reported by El Confidencial, via Football Espana: "El Confidential have said City will attempt to take advantage of Messi’s unhappiness with his contract and the current negotiations, which have not gone smoothly, as well as Messi's tax case and the way it was covered in the Spanish Press."

There was a report that Man City triggered his buyout clause 2 years ago. £250m and his agent didnt even want to discuss personal terms.

Why would he go there? Barcelona will pay him what he wants and he's got players that understand him and guarantee him trophies.

If Bayern were as rich as City and the story was them then I could see a very tiny chance. Not City though. More chance of Aguero or Toure or Kompany going the other way!
