froggg
As this is one of my old stomping grounds I'll be able to recommend some good drinking establishments. S75 Ram
I'll be there along with the missus, not got tickets yet, waiting for general sale on Friday. Booked 2 nights at the Hilton - short walk from ground - got one of their advance weekend special price deals. Hope to be eating / drinking in reading town on Friday & Saturday evenings, so any good real ale suggestions are very welcome. Cheers.
froggg
Spoke to ticket office at Reading, they said pay on the gate will be available if we don't sell out the allocation, think I'll order on Friday just to be on the safe side

EastKentRam
I normally just go in the pub next to the station, alright in there and easy to get a bus to the ground right by.
froggg
Any thoughts on which pub yet folks?
S75 Ram
I think we'll be going to The World Turned upside Down 387 Basingstoke Road, Reading, Berkshire, RG2 0JETel. it's only a short walk from our hotel and then 15 mins or so to get to the ground. Not a fantastic looking place by any means - bog standard carvery pub, but handy for us. Just hoping for a bit more enthusiasm and flair from the players.
