"Premier League fans, or at least supporters with an account on www.premierleague.com were asked to vote for whichChampionship promotion contender they would most like to see back in the Premier League next season.

The options included all three East Midland rivals Nottingham ForestDerby County and Leicester City, with the City Ground side winning the poll at a canter.

Currently at the top of the division, Leicester City are club most likely club to be promoted this season, with a strong possibility of them winning the division as well.

BurnleyQueens Park RangersDerby County and Nottingham Forest have all found themselves in a battle for that second automatic promotion spot and Burnley are currently the side that reside in it.

There is 16 games to go (17 for QPR) and as we all know the Championship has a tendency of throwing up some wild results. Even Leicester can't be sure of promotion until it is mathematically done.

With it likely to go right up until the very last game once again, it could be the sides with the greatest mental strength that eventually wins a Premier League place."

It's because they haven't been there for so long so it would be a new ground for most teams to visit.

And 90% of Prem fans couldn't give 2 sh*ts about the Championship. I'm sure if they were told some stats about the clubs they'd choose differently. A club who's made a profit from transfers and gives youth a chance (Derby/Burnley) or a club who in the past few seasons have spent over 10 million and just whip out the cheque book when times are tough (Forest/Leicester/QPR)?

I wouldn't care much for the Championship if we went up.
