The 21-year-old midfielder is currently without a club after being released by Tottenham Hotspur this summer. Derby will take a look at the youngster, who is set to play for the Rams in their opening Under-21 Professional Development League Division Two North fixture against Crewe Alexandra this afternoon. Parrett made his first-team debut for Tottenham in a UEFA Cup match against Shakhtar Donetsk in February 2009 and signed a three-year contract in 2010. He has had loan spells at Aldershot Town, Plymouth Argyle, Charlton Athletic, Yeovil Town and Swindon Town. He played 36 games in total during those loan spells. His four appearances for Tottenham all came in the UEFA Cup/Europa League. Parrett has also represented England at under-16, 17 and 19 levels. Remarkable not to have a club at this point in a season having played England u-16.u-17,u-18,u-19,u-20 and then released in the Summer.
