Looking back on that list of players, if we don't sell anyone (or even many)and get in a LC and CB, we have a pretty big, experienced squad. Jacobs, Gjokaj, Bennett, OB and Barker (hopefully) all have a real role to play. I'd like Legz to stay. Tyson, Robinson, Bailey, O'Connor and Naylor won't feature enough to warrant them staying. Nor does it look like they are in the long term plans. The squad would have a totally different shape if those five found new clubs. To me it looks like we're going with a really strong first team 20-22 and then hopefully we'll be in a position to slide one or two of the youngsters in and out of the side. If we're top 6 and flying it's a bit easier to do. For me, Brayford staying is now the real key. If he goes we've lost not only a cracking right back but we've also got to replace him as the centre half option. If he stays, I still want the extra centre half for security but even if we don't get that Brayford slotting in and Freeman on the right doesn't sound like too shabby an option at all.
