ladyram
Yeh, I went to Palace last season (horrible experience) and the away ticket office is right next to the turnstiles... In fact I had to walk past it to get to the turnstiles so wasn't exactly out of my way! StokeHate Stoke. Would it involve going via the multicoloured concrete jungle? VulcanRam
Unlike the Britannia, which is right off the A50, it's tucked away in the depths of the horrible part of Stoke (which to be fair, is all of it). Like the U12 free though; result, me and the two boys in for a tenner.
Shuff264
Train from Derby to Longport, the nearest station as far as I can tell, is only £8.70 same day off peak return.
Bwash_Ram
Used to be a right dump of a ground, went there back in the eighties for an FA cup match .. pretty crap except for a John Gregory 30 yard stunner .. cold and wet as i remember (and that was just the pies .. lol ..) Srg
Just under an hour down the A50 from what google maps is telling me.
eddie
Anyone know what car parking is like in the area? Edit: Just had a quick look on Street View and it looks as though there is a car park right next to the ground, but whether that's for anyone I don't know. maydrakin
Have they still got the V shaped floodlights? Remember we played there the night after Maxwell died and the papers lambasted us for singing songs about him in a negative light... before they realised he'd nicked their pensions! On Street View they just look like the regular rectangular array on pylons.
PrivateDerby
Big car park at the main entrance. If not just park in any of the many streets around the ground, it should* be alright... *All vehicles left at your own risk but valuables can be bought back from Burslem cash converters. I'd offer my drive for £100 a space but I'm the other end of the conurbation.
