Shake n Bake Posted May 25, 2013 Share Posted May 25, 2013 I'm gutted for Dortmund, but what a tremendous effort by a side built on something our Nigel wants for derby - Hard work. Dortmund are a phenomenal young side with a brilliant manager. I hope they can stay together and come back stronger next year. Fair play to bayern, I've always had a soft spot for them ever since the quarter final against united a few years ago. This year they were the bad guys, but 3 finals in 4 years is a sign of a strong team. Just hope they don't eclipse the rest of the bundesliga by spending huge amounts of money. I never turned it on in the first place! Still would have preferred Dortmund to win. Bayern seem too much like our "big four" I support anyone playing against them in big matches. Not just the hard work that Klopp and our Nige have in common, they both have an emphasis on team bonding and both try to play good football. Klopp's just a cocaine fueled Nigel Clough! If doing brasses doesnt make you a nice chap, I'm not a very nice chap. You can see a brass house from my mates place in Bournemouth, great little gaff but the birds are ropey. Munich deserved to win, but they also definitely deserved to have 2 red cards, they were stone wall as well, not even debatable. That would have changed the game. After the first 20 Dortmund done nothing. I still love Klopp though, feel for the bloke, what a journey, they've done brilliantly well just to get to where they are. YoungUttoxRam Posted May 26, 2013 Share Posted May 26, 2013 Best day out I've ever had, the Germans are alright and not the stereotype I once had on them and both sets of fans were friendly but up for it, walking in a police escort with Dortmund fans, wearing my Derby shirt, was brilliant. Not one of them cared, they were just over the moon I was supporting them! I think about 125,000-150,000 fans turned up. Fantastic, wembley was actually shaking. The Bayern Munich fans sung "footballs coming home" after they'd won... Barsterds. Did any camera get a view of the flag I took or not?! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
