Which players would you keep?

Fielding

Legzdins (if possible)

Brayford

Freeman

Keogh

Barker

Buxton

O'Brien

Gjokaj

Forsyth

Hoganson

Coutts

Bryson

Hughes

Hendrick

Bailey (I do agree here, but I doubt it will happen)

Jacobs

Davies

Ward

Sammon

Bennett

Martin (I think a few are turning on him a bit early, especially as he's likely sign in the summer)

I've probably missed one or two I'd keep there, but I'd certainly keep them. I'd also like a new right winger, and a true winger (as opposed to Coutts or Davies), whether younger and unproven or proven, as well as another centrehalf and maybe another forward. If Bailey can't return to play for us, I'd want another midfielder and if Hughes were to leave, maybe another again. I still think the key this summer will be to securing the core of the squad for a few seasons to come though.

Depends really what you're aiming for, if you're aiming for mid-table, keep the squad we have. However if we are aiming for top 6, the player i'd keep would be:

Fielding - Good GK

Legzdins - Good GK

Brayford - Excellent Right back

Bryson - Excellent cover but not a top 6 midfielder IMO

Buxton - Excellent cover and cheap - how often does he let you down?

Keogh - Good enough, just.

Hendrick - Proving to be very capable

Ward - Although he's made of glass, a good player at this level

Hughes - Obviously extremely talented

Bennett - Good young player

B.Davies - Good cover once more, depsite his aging years

Freeman - Good cover once more

Jacobs - Only player we have with any kind of flair, decent finisher as well

Barker - If he gets back to his old self he'll be like a new signing

Sammon - Despite his split of opinions, I can see why he's a good player to have if you utilise him in the right way. We seem to play him as a target man when he's not that, much better facing the goal and running into space/ streching defences.

Hoganson/Gjokaj - Keep to see how they are in another season.

Happily get rid of:

O'Connor

Deeney

Naylor

Doyle

Robinson

Tyson

Roberts

Coutts

O'Brien

Would you seriously keep all of those players? What if the question was if you could improve the team with 5 players in different positions which players would you then retain?

Brayford

Keogh

Buxton (decent dependable cover/attitude)

Coutts (attitude)

Hendrick

Hughes

Ward

Bennett

Bailey

I'd listen to offers on anybody else. Those there are the players I'd want here and the price for them would be OTT for another club

For the starting 11? basically all that I mentioned I would keep, and then add 5/6 players to that of better quality. In an ideal world...

I guess this is all hypothetical. Rush has said there's money available even if we don't sell Hughes, and Clough won't need to sell anyone. If there's more money to spend than usual I'd probably only keep a handful, but without knowing the amount it's hard to say.
