If it's denying the rumour then it's good. If it says we want him then I'm not too keen, not played 1 minute of club football for about 1 year. Ambitious Posted June 27, 2013 Share Posted June 27, 2013 I can't see Clough going for Dunne, I do however think a player of his experience and ability would be an incredible asset but I think he would still want a fairly good wage and keeping him fit has been a problem in the past couple seasons. Boro did it with Woodgate and he was a class above - he was incredible against us before getting injured and going off and Upson was a similar story at Brighton. I think all signings are gambles, but if he does sign and we can keep him fit - he would make a massive difference, the obvious alternative would be he signs and gets injured, we hardly ever see him - plays well when we do, but ultimately falls into the abyss at our own club.
