North_Stand_Ram
Decent. Was an article on ssn a few days ago saying several championship teams interested and he's established himself as one of the best CB's in the division. DcFc Dyycheee
He'll be a free as he hasn't signed a new contract yet. Got to go for him, been one of the best defenders in this division for a while, well established!
Ambitious
One of the best DEFENSIVE players i've seen at this level - I don't think he'll come here, nor do I think he'll stay in this division!
SuperSheep
Is this sarcasm?!?! Its not that I don't rate him its just that I never hear of him unlike defenders like Curtis Davies, baptiste. I just don't know if you guys are being sarcastic or not!

I just don't know if you guys are being sarcastic or not! Adam is a defender much in the mould of Wes Morgan - no **** type, like Buxton. But he is one of the very best at this level, along with Wes - I think he'd be a cracking signing, although I did hear his form dipped towards the end of last season, but Brighton have offered him a deal so I expect he'll stay! Scott129
Apart from El-Abd, have we been linked with any other CBs? It's glaringly obvious we need another one and I believe it was mentioned by Rush in those pub meetings.

L_J_DCFC
Adam El Abd sounds like the biggest southerner going so I don't think Clough would mind
North_Stand_Ram
Perch can play RB and CM so would make sense, another ex red dog tho and always seems to be on the treatment table
Srg
The guys 28 and only been in this league since Brighton have. Slightly inflated opinions you lot have.
DcFc Dyycheee
Perch can play RB and CM so would make sense, another ex red dog tho and always seems to be on the treatment table He can also play CB, which is good. I wouldn't mind Perch, seems like he's just a better replacement to O'Connor.

Only the two positions that do not need strengthening.

Anag Ram
Perch is terrible in central defence. He goes to sleep. As a defensive midfield player he might do a job but he's not worth paying for.

Sky Sports understands a host of Championship clubs are tracking former Sunderland defender Matt Kilgallon. Kilgallon is available on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at the Stadium of Light. The news has alerted Kilgallon's suitors to his availability with several clubs weighing up moves for the former Leeds man. The likes of Birmingham, Ipswich, Blackburn and Wigan are all thought to be keeping tabs on the situation as they look to bolster their defensive options this summer. The left-sided central defender joined Sunderland in January 2010 after successful spells at Sheffield United and Leeds, and his versatility in that he can play at left-back as well as central defence makes him an attractive proposition.
