The 'Oddfellows' is just down the road from the ground and is where most away fans call in for drink. We didn't even bring Vydra off the bench on Tuesday when we beat Ipswich 0-2 on their own foresaken heap. He was also not amongst the blessed goalscorers last Saturday when we smote those Birmingham heathens mightily 4-0 away. We were resting him especially for the game against Derby. Like Androcles in the old testament, there is a certain thorn that needs to be removed from the lion's paw. A certain 5-1 defeat thorn from earlier in the season. So expect the righteous wrath and fury of a raring to go Vydra on Saturday, whilst Cassetti and Anya will rain a plague of pinpoint accurate crosses onto your cowering defence and Chalobah will almost certainly bring on a pestilence of festering boils and locusts amongst your whole squad. The verger and I will be placing all of last week's collection plate plus the roof repair fund on a Watford win at odds of 5/6 and I would suggest you do the same. Very clever what you boys have done with the ownership, entirely cheap and unfair, but why not? Vydra's a cracker, they play some good stuff but they're certainly not invincible by any stretch of the imagination. Sadly, we're no good away either. 2-1 Watford, possibly 2 given that our defense is in pieces at the moment. How nice is it though that we've only just reached an injury 'crisis' at Derby by the end of Feb? The medical team must've had a nice quiet for months for once. Ah well, at least we beat them 5-1 earlier this season. Any more tainted than Leicester spending god knows how much in the last two years, Cardiff selling out for £100m and changing their colour? How about palace who paid out 2p in the pound 2 years ago and now selling Zaha for £15m only to get him straight back? Or, of course, Egypt B? At least we are using players that aren't getting game time at udinese, Gedo et al were first teamers and Al-Ahly are a worse team as a result of a favour.
