CumbrianRam
Forgot about Laudrup, he'd be a close 3rd. The other managers of the top teams have underachived in Europe, Leagues and the cups.
Albert
Nige has the 53rd ebst record in England according to the BBC's Managerial League Table 2012/13. On points per game (average). [url=http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21372441]http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/21372441 It's articles like this that give stats a bad name. AndyinLiverpool
It is what it is. A list of managers ranked according to a simple calculation of points per game. Nothing more. Threads like this give the interpretation of statistics a bad name.
Brammie Steve
It's articles like this that give stats a bad name. Stat's right on Einstein, you tell us mate! http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/uploads/profile/photo-thumb-1910?_r=1343851890 Lies, damned lies and threads like this. BondJovi
He is no poem writing fool Just endlessly cool With his bumbling donkey in tow A reputation shall forever grow I'll sing his praise For all those sunny days How the mighty can stand so tall Hope forever they never fall Oh yeah stats... useful but never to be used alone. curb
I don't get it, he's an average manager with an average record, he's better than Jewell, but not as good as Ferguson. Why pretend otherwise? Someone called me stupid for looking at a list of managers and their points per game record, in which Nigel's record is average, and concluding that our manager is average (although I didn't need the list to tell me what I already knew). How stupid do you need to be to think he's one of the best in the league?
