Gap tooth ram
Just watching Africa on BBC1 and also been watching Galapagos on Sky. Am I the only one that thinks its a travesty that he hasn't had a knighthood yet for services to nature / wildlife? I only ever watch wildlife / nature documentaries because of him. HE makes the programmes what they are, interesting and informative. A true national treasure to be proud of. One or two superb achievements merit them these days, this man has produced a lifetime of them. The campaign starts here! After all his brother has one and gets the bragging rights round the dinner table at Christmas!

Gap tooth ram
Great teams behind the scenes - camera crew, researchers, editions, etc, but he makes the shows. Agree Jezza, could be favourite. Seeing that baby elephant die nearly got me but the missus was here so had to look manly! I'm sure he's well into his 80's so they need to do it soon. Let him basque in it and let us all show our appreciation for his work.

EastKentRam
This has been quality so far, the last one in the arctic was a bit of a let down, but this is the b*llocks, one thing the BBC are very good at.

ladyram
He is a Sir, I'm sure he is, got a CBE in the 70's? I saw an interview with him once, he doesn't like to shout about it though and so decided not to have the Sir bit put on any opening credits. His brother Richard (the old guy from Jurassic Park if you can't think cos it's early) is a Lord. Africa is awesomely brilliant, as is The Blue Planet, that was superb. RamNut
His early career taking animals from the wild to sell to zoos is less creditable. ......similarly Gerald Durrell who was involved in the some appalling cruelty.
MrsRam
Oh ****! I've missed episode 2. oh ffs. It's on again on Sunday. I was watching the footie, so I'll watch it then - although I think i'll miss the baby elephant. To me, that voice of his, is just my childhood right there. The shows just wouldn't be the same without him.
