RAMS fan Dougles Else, known affectionately as the "badge man" by the crowds at Pride Park, has died this morning.

Mr Else, who had been watching his beloved team for 86 years, sadly passed away at the Queens Medical Centre following a battle with diabetes.

His son, Steven Else, said: "He was my best friend. He took me to my first match when I was five.

"It used to be a nightmare trying to get anywhere with him as people were always asking for pictures. It has hit me like a ton of bricks."

I really feel quite down about this and i've never spoke to the bloke in my life, just one of those people you see at a game and you're like 'wheeeey, it's badge man, what a legend' and it just cheers you up.

Just think about all the miles, time, effort and money he's put in over the years, all the things following Derby he must have seen, the love he had for the club, sad times.
