I reckon 2 or 3 have signed already, but their contracts don't start till 1st July. He kind of catches himself and says he can't say too much.

I for one am going to enjoy the roller coaster of the summer transfer window and all it brings!!
Why do I have a feeling the admin might announce something like this tonight or tomorrow
here’s one for the ☀️ Day 👀

• Close to a few
• wants 5 in by pre season
• has a video call x2 attacking players
spoke really well the only thing I don’t really like is this idea of character every team has good characters and bad characters If we had a bad character who scored the goals to get us out the league so be it tbh. Our current set of players might be nice but are they tough enough that’s the difference

Oxford have signed Ruben Rodrigues and are about to sign Josh McEacharan, maybe they’re willing to let Branagan go, I’d love to spend the Knight or Bielik money on him, a great player at this level. Probably will end up at a championship team though.
I fully agree
say we sold
knight and Bielik
sign Brannagan and a striker with that money
- Caerphilly Ram and Eoghan1884

Yeah, you're right, although I do think one or two are going to be names who we have been linked with.
My guesses would be Bradley and/or Flint, and I do reckon there's something in the Bonis story.
I’m going for a double signing tomorrow or Monday
1st - Sonny Bradley
2nd -flint
next week we’ll sign a striker one that might surprise you
-
With knight all loyalty aside you’ll get what people are prepared to pay for him.
he’s versatile, a full Ireland international and still young however , he has an undetermined position , doesn’t assist or score near enough and has hardly set the championship or league 1 alight therefore, I’d guess the following.
Bristol opening bid £1.25m rejected
Bristol last bid £2m + add ons accepted

Realistically speaking, how much do you guys think Derby will spend/can spend on transfers this summer?
I’d have a guess max £300k

So players like Alfie May at 29 years old would probably be looking for 2 maybe three year deals
-
I think a common theme will be contract length I hope derby are sensible when it comes to contracts
forwards who are 29 no more than 18 months
2-3 year deals for younger to mid age players.
id imagine besides higher division clubs we may lose out on players based on contract length. Which I’m not too sad about unless in the future we can sign 18-24 year olds on 3-4 year deals. I’m actually quite happy we are restricted in that sense. It was ridiculous giving big money 4 year deals for players
-
From the free agent list
Joe Ward - attacking FB set pieces too
Sam Smith - decent return of 12 in a crap team
josh Key - decent fb
matt Pennington- decent CB
Anderson RB - Oxford
Lloyd James CB Cambridge 4 goals from CB
Brannagan - Oxford if knight goes
Oshilaja - burton CB/ DM

Big summer of recruitment ahead. I could see in upwards of 10 new signings. Didzy I’ve known for a long time won’t be re resigning , Roberts looks set to join Bristol a loss but championship football will be hard to turn down.
I know I’d be hated for this but if we sold knight and Bielik I’d go all out and sign Clarke Harris we need a top striker to get us out of this league. Our signings need to be a balance of future prospects and short term solutions
-
So I’ve been told about the three kits I know someone involved in the design /media department
Home shirt white shirt with dark reddish/pink on it possibly the sleeve
away kit is a checked pattern wasn’t told the colour
third kit is turquoise
-
Triple signing
Flint , Clare, and Rodrigues on a free
Didzy won’t re sign
-
Something along the lines:
rams set for a triple transfer swoop.
derby county are close to competing a triple transfer swoop with Aden Flint , Sean Clare and Ruben Rodrigues being lined up.
derby are also looking for a couple of strikers with Sam smith , Alfie May and Billy sharp touted as possibilities.
basically recycled rumours

Having finished 7th and now in a better financial position, it's obviously reasonable to expect an improvement next year, but at the moment all these "anything less that top 2 is a failure" predictions are not yet based on anything other than expectation of what 'should' be happening because a club of our size and we did well last year yadda yadda.. and it's not yet based on any team we may actually be able to put out as there are going to be a lot of both outgoings and incomings.
Since the end of the season we have lost quite a few players who played a fair few games between them and we have not seen any signings yet due to the window not being open. As such, I can't really say what I expect next year until I have seen how the squad is added to because as of this moment we're paper thin and have a weaker squad than last year. That's not a surprise or a criticism in any way, but I just have no idea what team is going to step out in a Derby shirt yet.
So currently our squad is
Wildsmith Loach *
cashin Forsyth
Bielik * knight bird sibley hourihane
NML BarkhuizenMcgolderick * Collins
that’s extremely alarming considering I think mcgolderick and Bielik won’t be here
that’s 1 GK possibly 2 , 2rbs 2-3 CBS , 1 left back , 1-2 wingers Strikers 1-2
that’s about 13-14 new players
currently with that squad lower bottom table need a lot of improvements
-
I would argue that if we sign Bradley that’s the only 30 ish year old we sign
everywhere else we need 23-28 year olds

Yeah, it would be nice to bring in a striker with a decent level of production at this level rather than taking a chance on a championship player who may have been off it in the past couple of years. I think the fee is more than reasonable to allow him to move on. We need a couple of options upfront, perhaps three if McGoldrick moves on.
I can’t see it being more than about £150-170k
-
Linked with Alfie May in the derby telegraph
22 goals this season 58 in 144 is not bad at all.
-
Very poor quality football

So I’ve been wondering about these four , the qualities they bring and the potential cost they could bring in.
realistically we’re in a position I think we could keep only one as we need to be a sustainable club moving forward.
out of these id keep bird I think consistently he’s been the best out the lot.
as for Knight and sibley they just have no pushed on and the fact that knight has a year on his contract (unfortunately for you B4) he has to be sold and he’s definitely not a £5m + player.
as for Bielik it’s going to be a huge loss on his astronomical fee we signed him for but I think we could still get £1m+ maybe £1.5m at a push due to injury record.
so taking on board this I think:
keep bird
sell
sibley £300-750k roughly
knight £1.5- 3m tops
bielik £1-2m tops
So roughly £5-6 m in transfer fees plus add ons

I really couldn’t care less about any of the cups other than the league. unless your a non league team with a 2,000 crowd in hopes of a giant killing I just don’t see the enjoyment in the cup anymore especially the novelty of a Wembley appearance has been destroyed by having the league cup semi finals played there! Which moron thought of that idea 🤦♂️

please no. cant bear to think about the chants
All jokes aside say we sold knight and sibley bought CH and say got another scoring midfielder like Brannagan and a rb we’d be a better side overall
-
It’s about rotation. The problem we stuttered to the end of the season was burn out and the ability to rotate our team.
GK - Wildsmith then I’d imagine we’d re-sign the other two maybe make loach a coach or something
WB/RB - Clare on a free , knight maybe Harding
CB - Cashin / Forsyth/ Bradley / Robertson or Harding possibly Roberts on a free too
LWB - Forsyth/ Roberts possibly a younger loan player
CM - Knight/ Hourihane/ Sibley / Bird + maybe a new midfielder if knight or sibley goes
FWs/W - mcgolderick if he re-signs / Collins / Rodrigues/ another striker / Mendez Laing, Barkhuizen plus another winger maybe a loan
I’d imagine depending on who we get rid of
it will be CBS all on a free and RB on a free a LB on loan , maybe an extra midfielder on loan or for a small fee , a winger on loan , then two forwards one a free and another our biggest fee maybe Bonis or someone else
Guess the 5
