Exeter City V Derby County: player ratings

yes. i gave him the 4 for the work rate he put in. How can you score him any higher than that when he didn't actually contribute anything else? -

his entire assessment can be summarised by saying he ran round pressing a lot. Is that really worthy of a 7.5/10 ? FYI - established analytical sites such as sofascore (which people have used to defend him previously), had him as our worst performing player too. only 50% accurate passes, only 40% ground duels won, only 33% aerial duels won, lost possesion 12 times, -

Nyambe was only signed because he messed up the summer transfer window trying to recruit for a formation that didn't work -
Wasn't it short sightedness that contributed to our problems last time...
-
yet we're playing against them with better players...
-
have you seen who we're playing against every week?
-
The cost and wages of a player don't determine how good they are as a footballer. If that were true, Phil Jagielka was absolutely terrible for us because he cost £0 and only had £4000 wages.
-
if you want to put that narrative on it then ok. However, we are 2nd (or 3rd) in the league realistically because the league has been so poor this season. In any normal season we would absolutely not be. The target for the season was automatic promotion (as stated by warne in pre-season) and if we are only just hanging on to that playing against this level of opposition, what chance do we have if we go up to the championship? Where is the long term planning? What are we building towards? I still don't even know what our team is, what's the identity?
-
being realistic doesn't go down very well on here...
-
Realistically, if this was any other season we would not be top 2 playing like this.
-
drink coffee 😅

Isn't it usually the other way round. If your fighting relegation, your not worrying about how entertaining it is
-
Just a reminder. Paul Warne also has a 100% record of being relegated from the championship at every attempt
-
the players have a much larger sample size than david lowe's 1 game though.
