  1. Don't you think part of the reason for that is the fact he's dropped down to play in league one, and we have probably the best squad of players in the league playing with him every week?
  2. I like wilson, think he's been pretty good. He is not a defender though. Maybe a wing back at a push, but he is definetely more suited to playing RW/RM Ward and Elder have largely been 💩
  3. Elder has generally been terrible. He just had that one decent game
  4. But we have only really lost Nyambe from the team over that time. Forsyth has missed a couple but Elder covered for him quite well. Even without those 2 players we still have a far superior squad to our opposition each game Your right, we do lack control. The fact that we got away with it for 10 or so games is irrelevant for me. Look what happens as soon as we come up against a decent side like peterborough. How will we cope in the championship with this approach when every single team will be at least at peterborough's level.
  5. you can't really compare warne to the others though as he is the only one (except rosenior's very brief spell) who has had the best squad in the division and at the same time had comfortably easier fixtures than all the other managers.
  6. Maybe, but what's that got to do with warne having some sort of tactic's.
  7. I'm aware of that. He has come on as a sub 9 times aswell though
  8. Birmingham were earlier this season, and Hull are heavily linked. Both clubs have been in and around top 6 this season
  9. Nyambe yes i agree Wildsmith has been and is better than vickers Elder has had 1 good game and about 10 bad games In regards to NML & Collins, how do we know anyone else wouldn't get the same out of them...
  10. when did i ever say that? Although i don't think he's too far from that value
  11. of course. I wouldn't comment on something i hadn't seen! Sure he can't run round all game and win every header, which is what warne wants, but in footballing terms he is a level above everyone else. Good teams control games by keeping the ball, not by chasing it all game. He seemed to take a big step forward over the summer. I quite often feel sorry for him as those around him are not at the same level as him and i have no doubt he wouldn't look out of place in a top 6 champ side. Why do you think those teams are looking to sign him...
  12. he has 2 goals and 5 assists in 23 matches playing as a CDM most of the time. That's basically a 1 in 3 goal contribution. Bear in mind he doesn't take set pieces either to help boost those stats. What more do you want? If your after more goals from midfield, surely it's whoever is playing as the no.10 s responsibility more than it is the CDM.
  13. there's a difference between most peoples one/two touch football, and warne's one/two touch football (control it, hoof it)
  14. the majority of the squad was put together by rosenior though. the only good signings Warne has added to the club so far have been Nelson and Wilson
  15. Max Bird is our best footballer. End of.

  17. i actually watch a heck of a lot of football and not just derby. So i am very familiar with the levels required for prem, champ, L1 what would be very short sighted, would be thinking that this brand of football would get us to the prem
  18. They might want to mix it up, but we know what warne will make them do. cross, cross, cross.
  19. I would also expect that as a businessman, he doesn't fully know the best approach in football terms
  20. the high intensity pressing is really where the similarities end though. Klopp likes the 2 wide players to move in with the forward dropping deep to link play. Warne wants wide players to stay wide and cross to a target man up front. Klopp likes to control games with the ball, warne is fine with not having it. We also saw over the summer with all his signings, that warne's prefered system is having 3 CB's and wing backs, very different to Klopp's approach.
