Stephen Pearce on Radio Derby 6pm Tuesday
G STAR RAM replied to Caerphilly Ram's topic in Derby County Forum
Well the last time I remember him saying it was at the Nunsfield House fans forum in January 2019. At that point in time it was true what he was saying. The ground sale and amortisation method had both been agreed with the EFL by this point. I'm not sure we can hold it against Pearce that we subsequently failed FFP based on the EFL backtracking on their agreement and retrospectively changing the rules. I can confidently say I'm not in danger of defaulting on my mortgage payments, however, if the BoE raised the interest rates up to 20% I would. -

Yeah the better side if the idea of the game was about pointless passing, which some people seem to think it is. The better side scored 3 goals and conceded 0 as us old fashioned people still believe is the idea of the game. Cant see that sort of plan catching on. More crucial passes and xG is a much better plan. -

So you can see a pattern of play then, just not one that you want. -
Maybe I've misunderstood, I thought ball boys were just representatives from local grass roots teams, cant say I pay much attention to them.
-
Yes, hence why I gave my opinion that I don't think young kids, who are probably having their dream day out, should be being put under the microscope and having criticism thrown at them.

We picked up a point and 2 better goal difference on Peterborough. A team that was promoted in September (Oxford) failed to win. And 2 teams promoted in January (Peterborough and Bolton) failed to win. Adams is looking like a decent addition. Cashin will be back soon Washington will be back soon. We have yet to unleash CBT.
-
Have we really sunk this low? Yes ok, they weren't very good at their job yesterday but is it really worth commenting on?
-
Wow. The home matches were decent with the crowd fully behind us. The away matches were turgid and no better than what we are watching this season.
-
Despite the fact that we lost nearly every single away game?

Anyone even mentioning Bradleys performance today isn't really watching the game and is just resorting to the same old criticisms of Warne. -

Couple of things:- Every single offside decision in the first half, at least, was correct in my opinion. At what point did Warne come out and tell all of the players to sit back and defend the 1-0 lead? The support wasn't stupendous. Booing your team when drawing is anything but stupendous. -
I agree. Should have kept him on and then you'd all have something else to moan at for the next 6 weeks when he was out with injury.

Only people who are still hanging on to his performances from 3 months ago and are too stubborn to change their opinion on anything. -
Was it Whoscored that had Cashin as our MOTM against Lincoln?
-
Why does that make him PotM? If it was just about goals surely it would just be Top Scorer of the Month?
-
Clearly if people are calling Aberdeen a big club...
-
Perhaps the poster was just 'paraphrasing' you?

Exactly. In Vickers 6 league games, we have conceded 5 goals of which I wouldn't say any were his fault. In Wildsmiths last 6 league games, in which granted we played better opponents, we conceded 7 of which 4 I would say could be directly attributed to his mistakes or he played a very big part in. -

Other than the one that I have already given you mean. Not sure that said poster is well renowned for ITK info to be fair. -

No, my implication is that this is a squad game and a member of said squad has come in and has not done anything to lose his place. Wilson was on the bench today, is he being punished? -

Not really a punishment though. If he wanted to punish him, he'd make him play in midfield in training and tell everyone to play 'Warneball'. -

Who said he is being punished? Or is this just another non existent thing being used to attack Warne with? He had a couple of poor performances and was dropped. Maybe the management just think that Vickers has done ok and doesn't deserve to lose his place? Personally, I prefer Wildsmith but am certainly not viewing it as him being punished.
