Handball should be given when it hits the hand. Only given when the arm is deliberately used to prevent an advantage.

One yard line introduced along the six yard box. No one bar the keeper allowed within it at set pieces. Also used at penalties as keeper's limit of movement.

Any player falling to the floor clutching their face should leave the field for a concussion check. Safety and play acting device.

Anyone diving should be sent off (unless it's against Burnley where their player should be banned for life).

When I played the ball had to be within the white lines.

If you take a corner, it is a bit cramped, having to avoid the flag and strike the ball cleanly.

Why don’t we make the quadrant bigger and then say the ball has to be completely within it?

Surely that would make life simpler?

Too easy, rules weren't invented to be simple.?

    Expecting a parcel.

Tracking says Amazon one stop away.

Look out window, white van parks outside, takes parcel next door--ooh goody we're next

Van driver on phone, no action. Assume we're not on his van. 2 hrs later AA van shows up. Lots of banging, passenger seat out, more banging , driver doing nothing.

Another Amazon van shows up--oooh goody. No! He goes away.

After another hour original driver rings bell, says sorry and goes off. 3 hours to walk 20ft up our drive!

Just be glad he went in for driving and not brain surgery.

Correct. They only brew enough to fill 4000 bottles. I feel privileged to have got my hands on a dozen.

It is amazingly good - coffee and vanilla notes as well as plummy fruits. It tool me 3 hours to drink it - most definitely a beer to savour.

The beer is started off between Christmas and the New Year, then left to mature in bourbon barrels before bottling. The beer was originally created as a collaboration between Roger Ryman (St Austell's brewing director who sadly died earlier this year) and the New Riga brewery in Moscow.

I will allow myself 1 every 2 months, then when next year's batch comes out, do a comparison before laying the rest down.

I guess it's not much use me popping round to Aldi then?

You must have really hated Franny Lee

I saw the 3-2 Leeds game live and probably a hundred times since, still not quote sure if Franny tripped over the solitary blade of grass in the Ossie End penno area or not? ?

Having worked in a customer facing role earlier in my life I can say those signs are spot on.

Of course most of the public are good decent people, but there are enough bamfords out there meaning you could easily feel like crap each and every day because they decided to be an utter arse, threatened, swore at, lied about to managers, been lied to about other members of staff.

And of course there is the definition of crap service, quite often people confuse not getting the answer they want with crap service. And even if someone has made a mistake (We all make them), it doent mean shouting and swearing at them is acceptable.

Im sure there are some shop staff who can be arses too of course, but even though im no longer public facing in my job, i witness far more of the public being arses than shop staff.

Of course, the worst people are those at shop checkouts etc that continue to hold a conversation on a mobile phone while they are being served by the shop assistant, that almost worse than being rude or abusive to someone.

I once got served at a petrol station by someone who never took their eyes off a TV showning Eastenders, whilst taking my payment and handing me a receipt. No eye contact or conversation whatsoever.

The amount of signs in shops, post offices etc that state "Our staff won't tolerate abuse" (or words to that effect). Don't recall many like that a few years ago. Cannot recall posting this but the above prompted me to.

Those signs basically should read as; "when we give you crap service and generally treat you like a dog turd, you are not allowed to answer  back"

Get the fastest petrol car your budget can stretch to, and enjoy every opportunity to hoon it around until EV becomes the default, possibly only choice.

  9. In a nod towards our soon to be takeover by a middle-eastern set-up, a new Derby beer is being brewed.

This is a complex brew, which combines the tolerance of the middle-east towards alcohol with our chances of being promoted and will be called RamZero.

One from Aldi, a french beer (not particularly common) aged on rum barrel chips.

Quite basic base beer in truth, but drinkable, and under £3 for a big bottle.

Saw that the other day but decided to stick with the Cornish Brewery "Proper Job" IPA.

How does it compare (assuming you've tried the IPA)?

    Pretty desperate line-up imo.

Assume he's got 3 at the back, with AA and Tripper as wing backs.

No Kane, but I suppose retaining calvert lewin was justified. Has there ever been a more out of form and out of position defensive selection?

Watching both Rashford and Tripper get to their byline then come back onto their right peg is laughable. These guys are on £gazillions a week too.
