    No fall out from me.
8 pts is a lot when we have the 4th worst away record this season. We’ve won away once this season the opening game which is awful and even though we’ve drawn the last 2 away in both we’ve looked lost on what is our actual tactics. I don’t blame coco for recruitment but tactics I do. Regardless though he’s got a free hit for me this season.
Singings wise I’d rather sign Matt Clarke permanently or someone else young permanently to build for next season. Loan signings are short lived and leave us in situations like this season. We don’t have the clout or attractiveness for other clubs to loan their prized gems sadly.

What is the point on signing a 33 year old for 5 months if we have no intention of challenging for the playoffs?
Surely we give more game time to our youth (Whittaker) or we buy young hungry players.
If true this is lazy, lazy, lazy recruitment once again. Nothing changes ☹️

Yes I think they have this mindset and I’m fine with it. I want to be in the playoffs on merit playing attractive footy, not limping and scrapping in like the previous 2 times. We’ve been there and in the end we get found out
We keep saying Coco needs time to build his team and needs transfer windows and so here we are and we’re supposed to be looking at 33 year old strikers!
Coco and co for me have a free hit now this season and I would hope we only sign players who have a future with him at the club (his signings) not lazy pointless signings like this.

I’ll walk to Wembley if we get there........naked. We are more than Billy Sharpe away from the POs
In my opinion what’s the point in signing him?
So he can suck £10k+ a week out of the club? Improve us to 12th position maybe? Nurture him for the future?
We have enough deadwood/baggage already. Wouldn’t you prefer to give Whittaker more game time to see if he’s any good?

Are you suggesting that Billy having lost his point is not as Sharp as he used to be?

Why are they clueless? Maybe read some of the replies here..... it’s just a different opinion, for me it’s a massive waste of five months wages in the budget

Just need to sign Rhodes and bring back Nugent. We'd have completed the set.

Why would someone be against this?
A loan means he isnt blocking the path of any youth to step up like Cocu & Mel have said, clearly nobody is ready to step up just yet.
We are one of the lowest scorers in the league. Martin is a hold up player, Waghorn needs 20 chances to score 1 and Marriott cant play any more than 3 games in a row.
Yesterday showed we need a striker who can run in behind & without Marriott we dont have that.
I personally would be happy with this signing. Not every signing we make has to a youngster. Sharp could easily come in and bag 10+ goals for us and get us close to the playoffs if not in them.

I’m not one for frivolous thread creation, but he really does deserve his own thread.
He was absolutely outstanding tonight. His performance on the ball was as good as any from last season, but what impressed me most was his defensive nous. Gallagher was running the show in the first half, but Holmes completely pocketed him in the second. All the kicking, pushing, chirping and hair stroking amounted to poohousery of the highest and most effective order.
Even more impressive is the fact that he did that in a team of ten men and was in the middle of a flat four across the middle - a role which he’s neither used to or physically suited to.
More of that and he’ll be my favourite player again.

What I don’t get is folk saying hate Rowett’s boring tactics, dislike Rowett’s counterattack style, but then say if Coco plays boring footy and wins the league we’d all be happy. You cannot have it both ways?
I know we collapsed in the end but we sat 2nd on 1st January 2018 with 49 points under Rowett. If we beat Charlton on Monday we’ll have 30 points ☹️

I don’t buy the youngsters cocu thing.
3 academy players (Lowe, Knight and Bogle) started on Boxing Day and bogle featured most of last season. It really isn’t a revolution?
I maybe wrong but I doubt folk will talk of the “Cocu kids” like the busby babes or the class of 92. 😂😂😂😂

Ugh? More like vydra got found out and marked out of games.
I’m by no means saying I prefer Rowettball over coco but thus far coco has chopped and changed 24 games in and has shown no real style of play other than playing out from the back which Davies, fozzy, Clarke, etc. are not equipped to do.
Give him 2 more transfer windows? but I hope we’re not buying players for a league 1 promotion push in 20/21 😩

    Just going on facts :
We are bottom of the league based on recent performance over the last 7 games - the best guide to expected future performance Only two teams have won less games than us Only one team has scored less goals than Derby As a result we are four places off the relegation places We are currently playing lower league teams and those around us. And it is getting no better. Soon we will be playing better performing teams.
If this is not relegation form, I really don't know what is.
I really wish this wasn't the case and of course I hope this doesn't end in our relegation at the end of the season.
But to hide your head in the sand and pretend it all isn't happening is not going to turn this around and is unhelpful.
Offering bets to back up your arguments is just childish
And to base on your hopes on Rooney coming in is also unrealistic - he has been in and around the squad for some time now and no positive impact has been seen so far
If ever an attitude summed up the phrase 'sleepwalking to relegation' , yours is it unfortunately.
Please give me some facts and analysis to suggest I am wrong - I would be delighted to admit it and take your side
