  1. ive got a fitness watch but unfortunately it just gets battered by the kettlebell and punches and kicks from opposition at kickboxing sparring haha. ive been meaning to get one to wear round the torso. although with my current body fat percentage , if i wear anything like that round me ill looked like a gammon joint
  2. Ye im guessing youre doing more machine stuff then? Ive found resting squats have helped me. as before i couldnt even get into an ass to grass bodyweight squat unless i had barbell on my back ( which forces you down into the position basically), by all means take my advice with a pinch of salt as it could be imbalances or anything thats triggering your hip issues

  6. Has warne decided that he prefers Smith/adams in midfield now? or has hourihane got a niggle. Smith has been brilliant in my opinion and the midfield has looked so much more mobile. Ward has taken over on set pieces and every single one has been class. Thompson has been brill when he comes on aswell.

  8. Wildsmith is one of our better players. the odd blunder is far outweighed by his game winning saves every game. As a fan base we're far to easy to get the claws in on our own players.

  12. Hey man , hopefully you get what youre looking for. But in the worse case scenario another door will always open. Even if you have to get a rubbish job just to make the bills pay till you get something else. Theres always stuff at supermarkets and stuff ( i know its prob nothing like what youre doing but atleast its money in the bank).

  15. Good on you for carrying on with fitness. Its a use it or lose it situation with health and well being as you age isnt it. you'd prob put a lot of youngns to shame nowadays haha
  16. unfortunately my caffeine tolerance is really high and i dont get anything from it and anything more than what i currently have sets of migraines haha. Energy drinks are one of the worst things you can have so ive stopped having them
  17. Hi mate , as i did body building and powerlifting for years , id suggest looking at form or maybe swapping out exercises for stuff more comfortable. Do you do any mobility work? any sort of ankle stiffness or hip mobility issues will cause knee/back issues. Also modern lifestyle being sat at work and sat at home at sofa messes you up ( thats why im in my horrific condition atm haha) . If youre a nerd i couldnt recommend this channel enough. https://www.youtube.com/@TheBioneer/videos being a lard nowadays and years of powerlifting and being as proficient as possible lifting from A to B has no crossover whatsoever for my kickboxing as my mobility is awful so its something im personally working on. Kettlebells and calithetics will help me become more hybrid regarding stamina and more functional. Not wanting to be a strong lump anymore since dropping heavy deadlifts and squats i feel loads better. replaced with goblet squats and elevated/hindu squats and trying to train for longevity aswell. Few of my friends religiously follow the same exercises even though theyre in discomfort which i find very strange. For example he continues to do skull crushes even though it causes him pain. instead of swapping it for one of the many other tricep exercises that put less stress on joints .

I havent watched premier league football in a long long time as i cant stand how the games gone with possession football ( i know players are way more technical now). the end to end stuff is exciting and everything you want when you pay money to go watch a game, instead of cocu ball where you paid to watch 90 minutes of the ball being passed round our own box and then concede a goal from a mistake haahah

  21. Ye working a desk job has absolutely ruined me . Time to sort me head out and push mesen to go do something haha. im not bothered about being ridiculously strong anymore or looking like arnie ( obviously i didnt take any gear or anything back then as my hero was steve reeves). just want to look good , be healthy , and be happy more than anything. Feel i should be somewhere there by the holiday if stick to jogging, kickboxing , walking dog , kettlebells and weighted calithetics on the powertower.
