I don’t think that’s true at all? I’ve just looked and it’s told me to subscribe. Can’t even click “keep reading” or anything.

meaning you can find out all the information from normal papers n websites...

I did exactly the same last night and his stats are pretty bad. He's been dining out on those fruitful seasons with Aberdeen for a while now! He's best off staying in League One.

probably why we aint scouts youth🤣. But then again kazim richards stats were dreadful but he was class when utilised in the right system. Personally think cosgrove would flourish with our system of giving mendez laing the ball and leaving him to cross it in the box 🤣

Yeah hopefully, they manage to carve out a bit more of their own sound. I saw the record cover and thought - OK this lot are going to sound a lot like The Stone Roses aren't they? They did not disappoint!

yes unfortunately theres a lot of copy cat bands around nowadays. ive spent 15 years grafting playing heavy rock music and did some decent stuff but never quite broke through. but cant blame bands for copying stone roses and oasis as its a piece of piss of to play but people from that era lap it up

  4. Them and other local band Shadows of a silhouette are both doing really well. Hope they can make it. Mates with members of both ( both the drummers funnily enough). Both from the Ripley music scene. Luckily playing indie music is alot easier of a road to navigate as you can play owt and people seem to like it 🤣

  5. Paul Warnes style is very similar to Sean Dyches style tbh. effective and simple. I know his rotherham sides never did a deal in the championship but theyre a much smaller club in comparison and he achieved a lot with bugger all.

Theres 3 ways next season could go tbh.

1.If we've got money we can get some decent players in and look like old derby

    2. If we've got a bit of pocket money - keep the squad we've got and maybe odd addition and be ok ( his recruitment was very good even though some took their time getting up to speed.

3.If we havent got owt to spend , i think it will be a very similar to his rotherham sides

but overall im fairly confident we'll be ok. Our players flourish against better playing teams/better football. In league 1 we were against rubbish teams that were super defensive.

  6. Id try and keep most of the promotion team and add to it. Make adams permanent is a must. Maybe assess where players like hourihane are, i know hes on a fair wage but at the end of the day hes rated by the team and maybe a good rotation player ( still got some quality but legs have gone)

  7. im hoping we stay with wildsmith. odd idiotic mistake but hes been brillaint. Him and vickers are pretty solid. Prob need a replacement for loach but im guessing we may have an academy keeper that could maybe fill this void?

  8. i think this is one we could possibly get away with. coming to the arse end of his career. Him mendez laing and cbt/barks or a new winger on the other side would be excellent. alternatively he can play on the wing so if we pop him on the left we could get a big unit cf for him and mendez laing to play off haha 🤣

Yes, it's expensive but very good. I got it following a nasty accident it gives me loads a data about what each leg is doing ( my right leg is f*****). The drivers insurance paid for it. There are much more affordable options. If you already have an outdoors bike something like this might work  https://www.evanscycles.com/brand/pinnacle/hc-turbo-home-trainer-712633 you take your back wheel off and put this in its place. If not there are cheap options like this https://jllfitness.co.uk/products/jf100-exercise-bike-2 which should be good for a workout but will lack some of the functions. In general the more you pay the cleverer they get. Pay more you get, training routines, virual climbs and can do virtual races with other people.

You’d think PlayStation or Xbox would make a simulator or attachment , they’d really dominate the market

No idea of your age and weight - but that looks a pretty impressive, sustained effort - avg 17.5 mph over 2+ hours.

Thats from me watching the game on the wattbike, I'm suspsuperstitious when the game in on, I feel its unluck to stop even if I really need to step off, and I can set a punishing pace if the game is painful to watch. That might be my theoretical speed for the power output but I couldn't keep that pace up on the road with hills and junctions slowing me. I'm mid 50's and just under 17 stone.

Back in 2014 I was 18 1/2 stone and got into club cycling, I ended up just under 15 stone but could bang out some big rides, I did 14 100 milers in 2017. It all came to a rather abrupt end, I hit a car, got a ride to hospital in a helicopter, 10 hours of surgery and 4 weeks in hospital and 6 months off work. I've never, and probably will never, get my fitness back to what it was. It has left me with a cyclist view of timings, 2 hours is not a big ride. This is the sort of ride I was putting in pre accident

Such a shame about the accident,as the cycling was obviously beneficial and doing you good. Hopefully you can at least continue to do what you are currently doing

I did some oudoor cycling during the covid days (approx 20 miles 3 times per week) - but generally prefer to cycle on the indoor bikes, mainly due to the poor state of the roads, and having to take blood thinners following a stroke 13 years ago  - which isn't a good recipe in the event of coming off the bike with a high heart rate if you hit a disguised 6 inch deep water filled pothole.

I'm now 67,but still weigh pretty much my racing weight of approx 62 kg.

I do wish i had come across bi-athlons (bike/run),as that would have been ideal for me. Back in the day i had best times of....

    5k in 15.19

    5 miles in 25.30

    10k in 32.16

    10 miles in 54.05

    Half marathon in 71.22

With the indoor bikes, outside of the spin classes (45 mins,3 times per week), i usually spend approx 20-25 mins, and try to keep the power to weight ratio around 2.5-3.5 watts per kg (ie around 160-210 watts for), but for much shorter time periods than you were doing. I would usually do 4 mins increasing effort (starting at gear 14,15,16,20 with recovery of approx 45 secs at gear 11 or until heart rate dropped by 40+ bpm, from 150+ down to 105), then repeat 4 or 5 times.

Sorry what is this from? like an indoor stationary bike? i'm intrigued

For some reason it didnt say that anyone had further commented on this thread so i didnt reply
