  1. That silicone finish is dreadful. I'm equally shocked
  2. He's quick but seemed quite lazy to get in position when losing the ball, or to collect the ball in space.. His performance against Portsmouth was decent, against Wycombe he was woeful. I'm smelling impact sub and i'm not sure we thought that's what we were getting.
  3. Someone better have a word with Steele then. We is something I'd assume he'd say, questions would be incoming if he said they. We'll see I suppose.
  4. I'd imagine they have a cap based on being to sell 5000 tickets on a match by match basis is a fair bit more lucrative than having them as season tickets. Bit of a gamble if you've not won for 6 games but I imagine most clubs do it..
  5. They just said on the radio he had a contract offer in January he had no interest in signing. Hadn't heard that but they've got it from somewhere.
  6. I believe it was 350k. May have a promotion add on .
  7. The absolutely hate Buchanan. They deserve each other. Krystian's got The Euros, so although he is being made to, he must go on loan for a year somewhere else to secure 30 mins off the sub bench in one match, before joining on a 2 yr deal and immediately giving the physios a constant supply of overtime.
  8. It is Nick Owen. A Derbyshire cricket fan and also a Luton fan Not only is he his only self appointed flagellist in terms of sporting support but also the Machiavellian genius pulling the strings behind Atwells run to UEFA VAR. Those two disallowed goals at Pride Park were just part of the long term plan to bring down their downfall this season. They fell for it as well. Lets hope Jon Moss is the ref for the Burnley match then the aim of relegation and financial ruin will be complete.
  9. However, on 12 March 2013 he missed a pre-match team meal, but claimed he made his own way for the match against Bristol Rovers, only to be informed that he was not in the matchday squad when he was just five minutes away from Bristol.[43] He took to Twitter to put his side of the story across, and an angry Micky Adams responded by saying Burge's tweets were "absolute nonsense and he's going to be disciplined".[44] Burge was suspended for two weeks for breaking the club's "social media guidelines" after club management claimed he refused to apologise for the incident.[45] On 12 April 2013, with three games left of the season, Burge left the club by mutual consent.[46] Club chairman Paul Wildes stated that "this has been a difficult decision for both parties".[47] Vale secured promotion into League One at the end of the 2012–13 season, and users of a single Port Vale fan site voted him one of their three Players of the Season.[48] The actual Player of the Year was Tom Pope, the Player's Player of the Year was Chris Neal. He had a trial with Cheltenham Town in March 2015, and impressed in a reserve game against Plymouth Argyle after being out injured for the season, but the club was unable to offer him a contract, even though his grandad was on the board 😂
  10. He looked good in the away game but their forum were hammering his selection for the Pride Park match. Don't know. I'd take Wing for consistency
  11. It was this one rather than the squad. He had the chance to play in front of 30k and told us to b*******. Now he can.
  12. We need some horrible players but the only one who stands without looking in those sides is Lewis Wing who's performed at this level before. Best way to look is like for like really. I think i'd rather give Barkhuizen another year for example than most League 1 wide players. He'll be better in the championship than League 1 as he has a knack for finding space but we need better strikers to read it and get in position quicker.
  13. I've heard worse. He didn't declare undying love for Preston at least.
  14. Defensively he strolled through games at League 1. Not so much as an attacking option. He's a championship ready player if played to his strengths.
  15. He turned us down last year for a slightly better wage after we were well down the road on his signing-i.e here's your shirt. That doesn't scream ambition. He can enjoy Burton again next season.
  16. I'm always wary of signing players from a club that have taken a thumping like they have this season. It normally takes them at least a season to address the fact their perhaps not as crap on an individual level as the whole suggests.
  17. To be honest I'd keep Collins for a year as we'll need some angry people next season off the bench. He's the only centre forward i'd renew though. I'd have kept Gayle instead as he's got great positional sense but he's also made of worn out elastic bands and his wage is best used elsewhere. I think Smith will be going, We'll need a lot more pace in midfield next season.
  18. No. I'd take 5th from bottom as a starter and rebuild from there. Not 4th bottom, I've had enough stress
  19. Plymouth did have a lot of loans and then lost their manager to Stoke which won't have helped. Strangely, I think the loan market will be the best option for stabilisation for us. Minimal outlay on 4 or 5 loan fees in the forward options without the burden of 3 yr deals will allow us to strengthen in midfield with fees. We won't be competing for strikers in the 9 million quid bracket on 3 year deals which looks about the price now for a 15 goal a year player at championship level. I still think we'll be doing well to hold on to Cashin but the fee will be a fair bit larger than it would have been. Also been advised that Bristol City have had interest in Knight at 8 million but are looking for a bit more and we have a sell on of 15% after original fee, so that would help. Destination Bournemouth I understand, so we'll see on that one.
  20. If his agent's done his job he'll have doubled his wages, had something in the contract to allow him to talk to championship clubs should we not get promoted or premier league clubs who match a valuation if we do- we have. It puts us in a better position regarding a fee i'd imagine. See what happens.
  21. Two acting like seagulls and then talking about Brighton. I assume someone's off to Brighton .
  22. First of all get up, second 2000 people will go on the pitch for 5 or 6 minutes, then they go back and 5 minutes later the players will appear. It's happened that way since fences went. Won't be any different tomorrow. Will we have fireworks like Forest did for staying up over Burton is the real question..
