  1. We’re on holiday so I’ll be watching on Rams TV. We should be very solid today so I’m predicting a clean sheet and a 1-0 win with a bit of NML magic. COYR
  2. I saw VM once, at the 25th anniversary special of Jools Holland. It was in the Albert Hall and Van played I think 3 tracks. He closed the show with Gloria which my dear old Mum loved, so that got me on my feet with a tear in my eye. It was a superb night. The Foos were playing and we were just behind and to the side of Taylor’s drum kit. Also saw Paul Weller, Gregory Porter, Dizzee Rascal, KT Tunstall and a couple of random international acts. Fab night of music and the tickets were around £30!
  3. Can’t say much about this. Absolute genius, just beautiful.
  4. Is that in Cockwood? My lad and I stayed near there last year and met some Derby fans in the pub.
  5. Great win. I like the look of Adams, hope NML’s foot heals quickly, CBT to come in, Bradley had a good game, Ward looked useful, Birdy had a cracking game, we’re in the top two. Happy days!
  6. Hope the keeper’s ok, but what on God’s green earth does he look like now! 🤣🤣
  7. That’s some commitment from Cash! Amazing news and thank goodness for something really positive after yesterday.
  8. I’ve just seen this, I’m so sorry mate. I really hope you and your family are bearing up. x
  9. Quite simply a legend.
  10. I agree. I think our biggest issue is tactically. Get it out wide and hope someone gets on the end of a cross. That’s literally all we do. It’s so one dimensional and we don’t seem to have an alternative. We occasionally play through the middle and look so much better for it - it happened a couple of times tonight and I commented on it to my lad, but it was very much a rarity. If we’re not even going to try to play through midfield, who do we need in there? It’s got to be (a) players who can disrupt the opposition when we lose the ball; or (b) players who can score. We don’t have any (a) players as far as I can see and it’s a massive hole in the squad. We need a nasty b@stard. The only goal scoring central midfielder we have is Hourianne. This means he has to stay on the pitch more often than not, even if he’s not playing well as he might get a goal out of nothing. We have to sort this midfield out and start playing through it.
  11. That was bad. Really pleased I made the trip down.
  12. Just seen this on the app. There’s something different about TJJ, I can’t quite put my finger on it…
  13. I’ve got every sympathy with Reading’s plight and would normally support any protest against their owner, but I’ll be extremely narked if I’ve driven down on a Tuesday night during my busiest time at work and the game’s called off. It’s making me seriously think about not going.
  14. Yeah, someone at work comes in from Lichfield and said it’s only Sutton that has snow.
  15. Any snow in Derby? We’ve had a bit in Sutton Coldfield but not enough to cause any issues. Just thinking what time to leave tonight.
  16. Very well deserved, congrats Paul and the coaching staff.
  17. Didn’t enjoy that tonight, it was freezing and we were very poor. Sloppy from the start and we never got going. None of the players brought in played well enough to stake a claim for the first team. I just hope it’s a blip that doesn’t affect our league performances or confidence.
  18. Didn’t see Hourihane warming up so hope he’s coming on for the second half. It’s got to get better, that first half was pretty dire.
  19. I’m always very apologetic to the people behind me and try to slouch down. I sometimes take my bobble hat off as well!
  20. Great, thanks Angie. I’m 6’6”, so if the person in front is a foot taller he’s escaped from the circus!
