  1. Sorry, you should know I don't mean your comments. I have no problem at all with people disagreeing with my view of Warne and then telling me what it is that I don't see in the football and results. But I am fed up with personal insults just because I don't rate Warne. Warne has done his job, the one Clowes picked him for. And whilst we may have set Club records we've not exactly done it with any style (imho obvs πŸ˜„ ) and we're at a level we've hardly played at and are playing at not because of our football abilities but because of our financial failings. Here's to next season! #COYR I'm sure you'll have a great time at the Carlisle game if you've a ticket. πŸ™‚
  2. Fair enough, that is your take on it, see @Nuwtfly post about 'enjoyment'. I enjoyed last season more, that is my take on it. I can't be bothered to explain why it will only lead to more personally anti posts about me rather than the football. I'll be happy to be promoted, and now I'm looking forward to next season. #COYR
  3. I'm optimistic about next season in the Championship. We have the resources in Academy and finance, we have the stadium and training facilities, we will once again have the 'pull' to attract good players. #COYR
  4. When did I say I was unhappy with us getting promoted? πŸ™‚ I replied as a joke, but there's so much personal abuse on this site nowadays it just all gets lumped together.
  5. Lol. I guess it depends how long you've been watching us play? πŸ˜„
  6. Well I guess the Prem teams like Chelsea have found out that having a good manager to spend the money is just if not more important. We're down in League 1 because we had points deducted not because we bought bad players or were out played. I enjoyed last season more than this, and if this season ends in promotion I'll be glad to get out of this League.
  7. Glad your happy. πŸ‘ As I replied, yes an achievement. Done with some of the League's best players and best paid players. Oh, well not yet done, so probably scraped in. An achievement though.
  8. It was a quote from a post above it about being able to discuss things. But there you go again with your nasty retorts.
  9. πŸ˜† This really isn't the League 1 of old, whatever that means. There's been very little kicking and out-muscling and much playing of football to a greater or lesser extent. Don't we hold the stats for 'airball' Warneball? πŸ˜„ It isn't a stunning achievement, but it is literally an achievement. As has been said elsewhere we weren't relegated on footballing inability but on administrative inability.
  10. Yes it's an achievement.
  11. Lol. Greatest achievement since 2006/7? You think coming second in League 1 playing turgid football is an achievement? Lets debate it. Nah that's okay, it's not appropriate. πŸ‘
  12. Woah he looks bloody good. Great hat trick, such nonchalance for his third too.
  13. Gotcha. I hope we get chance to find out.
  14. It's not only wingers that play as forward players. There's more to attacking play than running quickly with the ball. Although our 'tactics' are limited ATM. So not literally a like for like which I didn't mean, sorry for the confusion.
  15. All of the players you name could play in the Championship, but not necessarily with us.
  16. He didn't look like you suggest yesterday - he's not had lots of opportunity to show how he can play forward. After all who'd have thought he'd make a fullback. He hasn't hit the 'heights' because the club has sunk like a stone. He's all of 22? How old is Wilson etc. He's nowhere near the finished article but even so looks a threat when played other than as a defensive player.
  17. LWB wastes his best asset which is his goal-scoring ability. He’s a midfielder or front man, he could easily do CBTs role. His deadball ability and crossing is better than we’ve seen from many in the squad.
  18. I wonder who we spent on, wasn’t it all loans or does it include CBT?
  19. I'll be watching on RamsTV, there'll be lots of alcohol too. More than necessary to deal with watching the beautiful game as served up by Warne. πŸ˜„ Next season will be interesting in more ways than one I'm sure.
  20. Ayia Napa, early season. But fortunately I'm too old for the 'nightlife'! πŸ˜†
  21. Oh come on, some of the attacking play was excellent. But Collo didn't have his shooting boots on. I agree the sideways across the back line stuff was tedious though. I guess we needed a 'midway' point manager. Although I'm not sure if rumours were true and it was (unaffordable) Evatt that it would have been him either. 😁
  22. So sorry I'm not really interested in what you put your tone isn't very nice πŸ™‚ It's lovely here in Cyprus and the sun is shining 🌟 πŸ‘
  23. Yes, I was hoping we'd score so we go up.
