  1. Posh are so lucky not to be down to 10. Their player claiming the push possibly saved him there? It was in no way a foul on him, but I don’t see any way in which punching the ball above your head is not a yellow card.
  2. Forsyth on a yellow and their wingers can probably walk as quick as he can run so that’s understandable. Hourihane took a knock so that might be why, Barkhuizen looked alright so I’m surprise that change was made this early.
  3. Pretty decent first half for a neutral. Fairly end to end, they’ve been the better side. You can tell it’s a League One game, though. Both sides could’ve had more but it’s the last ball which is lacking. I hope it’s more game management rather than being knackered, but we look quite tired. 3 games in a week with no changes, it might be one that’s won off the bench for us.
  4. A bit better in the last few minutes. Wilson’s an excellent player.
  5. Yep I had a look to see if they have any injuries, any possible points deductions for previous unpaid wages or anything like that but nothing, it's strange.
  6. Well according to SkyBet, we are now favourites to win the league... Derby 15/8, Pompey 5/2, Posh 7/2 and Bolton 4/1. I'm not sure why Bolton are those odds, they are currently in a stronger position than us. I think it'll be two from those four, if I had to stick my neck out, I'd say us and Bolton right now.
  7. What a result. What a f****** result. The performance, the comeback, the nature of the win. We shot ourselves in the foot early on, 2-0 down away to a top 6 side within 15 mins and could've succumbed to a nothing performance. We did the exact opposite. Our form is excellent but this is the biggest "sign" for me. We can win in different ways, put in different types of performances and still get results. It's the sign of a promotion team. I'm probably getting carried away, but you don't see this kind of thing from Derby very often. I hope we follow it up with a win vs Posh, then we really are onto something. But for now, I'll enjoy tonight. Luckily I'm a moderator and can go and clear any trace of my Warne comments after the Stevenage game, because I was very wrong. He deserves so much credit, he's got us doing things I never thought he'd be capable of. Hats off to you gaffer.
  8. Would probably settle for a point now then...
  9. Ah, OK. I thought a discussion might be nice but never mind.
  10. Ipswich fans pretty happy he's gone, he apparently can't last more than 10 minutes (steady on now!) without getting knackered. He has a lot of hype and a good reputation, but for some reason in senior football he's not really done a lot despite many chances. He's 19 and has 63 senior appearances and managed 6 goals.
  11. Oxford 1-2 Derby Collins (purely because of the Collins & Oxford Dictionary references)
  12. Oxford will bring up 23 games and mark the half-way stage of the season. So given that, who's winning the award so far? For me it's between NML and Curtis Nelson. I would probably give it to NML as I think he's the most effective and most dangerous player by far. But defensively, we have been excellent. You wouldn't have thought that after the first couple of games where it was mistakes galore, but we've really sorted things out at the back. There must be something with defenders named Curtis and Derby County. There's a few other candidates who have also been pretty good this season, but those two are my stand-outs. It shows things must be going pretty well when I could see a justification for 4 or 5 players getting the award. Some years you're scraping the barrel for 1 or 2.
  13. I'd imagine if the option exists, it's been activated. Brighton can't agree a pre-contract deal with Cashin until 1st June, but foreign clubs can. That would include Scottish clubs, so if Brighton are interested I'd imagine clubs like Celtic could be too. We'd still be entitled to compo, but it's out of our hands then. For Cashin, the only way he really "loses" in this situation is if he picked up a big injury. If we miss out on promotion, I'm sure he will still have options in the summer. If we go up, his reputation and stock increases, and will be playing Championship football regardless of if he moves or not. He's incredibly important, so if he's gone in January then it would be a massive knock to our prospects. I'd like to think Cashin goes in to February a Derby player, even if that is on a loan deal.
  14. I wonder whether the last few weeks would have altered our approach to the window. We’re within touching distance of the top 2 now, so if we have a good transfer window, there’s no reason we can’t make it. I don’t think we will, or want us to take a gamble by overspending. That would be deja vu when it doesn’t pay off. But last window, our additions were ineffective and our season ended up with nothing. I think if we can avoid being weakened, even if it means Cashin is sold but loaned back, then that’s one big step. We need someone who is a reliable option to swap for Collins, if he got injured, we probably can’t rely on TJJ, Waghorn or Washington to lead the line for a run of games. If we can also get another winger, as other than NML we seem to be very wasteful in this area, then we should hopefully be alright.
  15. Forest complaining about decisions will never not be funny given how they got into the Premier League in the first place.
  16. We’re bloody lucky that the ref went back on his decision to blow for full-time after 45 minutes, I’ll give you that.
  17. And then went for Embleton after, didn't we? So whether it's Clark or someone else, you'd think filling Embleton's place will be filled again asap.
  18. It’ll be funny when he gets a better job at a bigger club, Crystal Palace or Bournemouth perhaps, and stays in the Premier League a lot longer than Notts Forest.
