I get so frustrated watching Tyson Fury. Based on tonight I take Wilder to stop him.

It was the same with his last fight too. David Haye could be right that he’s holding back because Wilder’s on the ringside and Fury doesn’t want to give anything away and lure Wilder into a false sense of security.

  2. Not a fan of whyte’s tactics. Pushing Parker onto the ropes, headlocking, clashing of heads because he knows he isn’t as good technically as Parker so he’s resorting to dirty tactics. Parker too negative, he’s going to be kicking himself if he doesn’t win this as whyte was there for the taking.

I don't know what Wlad's arm length is but he's got a longer reach than AJ due to his stance. Wide stance and his front hand he uses to hide his shots

Wlad’s reach is an inch less than Joshua’s.

Fury’s reach gave him an advantage against Wladimir when they fought in Germany and he landed shots that a normal heavyweight wouldn’t be able land, purely because of the length of his arm, which helped him to accumulate points. His arms are like tree trunks.

  4. Agree with what was been said about Joshua v Fury. It would be boring to watch for the casual but in terms of tactics, it would be fascinating to see how Joshua would cope with him. Fury can hit you from anywhere with his long reach. He’s rather unorthodox but then again, so is Wilder(who has no technique in my opinion). I really think that Joshua would struggle with Fury if Fury is at the top of his game.

You couldn't make a case for Parker winning the fight. He looked like a decent boxer, but the size difference between the two and AJ's range meant he always looked like he was on the defensive.

Judges score fights for different reasons, and they would have favoured AJ for being more aggressive and dominating the centre of the ring. The referee didn't allow a close-up fight, meant AJ could just win rounds using his range.

Everybody in world boxing wants to see AJ vs Wilder. It's highly likely that played a role too when it came to the scorecards.

Completely disagree, for me Parker was in control of the fight but as you say, the judges prefer people to be offensive. The scorecards are a complete embarrassment though.

Which rounds did you have Parker winning, out of interest? I don't see Parker winning any of the first 4, or the last 3. So not sure how you have Parker by 3 rounds.

I had Joshua winning the first couple but Parker winning the majority of the middle rounds. We can debate about this all night long but the score cards are diabolical and did not reflect the fight at all. The referee also killed any momentum in the fight, even the American commentators said this referee did not have a clue and did not deserve to be the ring and wanted to make it about himself. Pauli was laughing at him throughout the fight because he was so bad. Parker was screwed over tonight.

Now thats a fight. Can Tyson bob and weave to protect his dodgy jaw from Joshua's power?

Fury beat a younger Klitschko IN Germany with everyone against him. Fury would be more than fine against AJ. AJ has improved technically but as seen tonight, he can get frustrated against opponents who are clever and are awkward which Fury would be(who would have a height advantage too).

Aj is better technically than Wilder but Wilder is an animal and thrives of hurting opponents, adding an unpredictability factor. He even said he wants to kill an opponent in the ring one day.

The radio had Joshua by 4, American judges on showtime by 3. Ive yet to hear anyone query the decision. Parker just interviewed and didnt query the decision. Most people are slagging the ref for intervening.

American commentators including pauli had Parker winning the middle rounds. Parker was screwed by the referee tonight, there’s no 2 ways about it. They are desperate for the wilder-Joshua fight.

  9. Unlucky Parker. He was not 100% but nonetheless put up a great tactical display despite fuckery from the referee. I’ve already seen people compare the overrated Joshua to the great Ali.

  10. Terrible decision. I had Parker winning by at least 3 rounds but the scorecards are embarrassing. You have to feel for Parker. The boxing powers that be are desperate for the Joshua-wilder fight

  11. Get David to ban you again for a couple of months(or even an IP ban) if you get tempted to view the forum. Give him an approximate date before hand of when your exams will finish so he can unban you, provided that he remembers. Alternatively, I'd recommend downloading a website blocker from the internet, although I'd recommend looking at the reviews first to ensure they are authentic.

    Revise. Please, please revise.

You will not regret my advice. Although my advice is on the assumption you're going to uni? If that's wrong then forget this advice.

For university holds many things. Fire engine call-outs, illegal substances, take-aways, beer, football and the odd lecture and arrest.

The freedom when you've been unshackled from your cruel, cruel parents will feel like we've just beaten the likes of Watford and Bournemouth in the Premier League and have risen up the table to 16th and just a minus 16 goal difference.

You'll find people there who support teams like Coventry and Portsmouth. You can reel off all our dissapointments and see who really has suffered the worst season.

And then there's the women. Treat them with respect . Remember, they don't care about how many games you've been to, or how many times you've been away this year. They're not interested in seeing the Derby/Sheffield Wednesday bounce on Youtube, or that Wanchope goal at Old Trafford with Graham Richard's voice playing over the top.

It is the best place in the world. Freedom, lack of responsibilities, optional part-time employment only, free money to spend on dodgy haircuts and fashionable clothes that just don't suit you. You might even make some friends :p.

Revise. It'll be worth it. Get on the course you want to at the uni you want to.

I can't reiterate this enough! A Levels will be the toughest set of exams in your life so I recommend to put absolutely everything into them to get the rewards.  Uni will be piss easy in comparison, particularly first year which is just a year of going out on the pull.
