I think we’ve signed Luke Plange from Arsenal U18s as a first year professional so he’ll no doubt start in the U23 squad.

I'm sure you'd be able to choose 3 or 4 to put in the 'at risk' group.
That’s a shame, I quite liked Jinkinson based on the limited number of times I’ve seen him play. Matthews has been injured for most of the season, I think. S Thompson hasn’t played for a while, I’d assumed he was injured. Bardell has been playing up with the U23s.
With the exception of de Gracia, the others all featured against Leeds U18s yesterday.

With Hector-Ingram and Stretton out on loan, we only had Duncan and Cresswell for the U23s and Cybulski was being moved up into the U23 match day squad as well. Plus Gordon went to Liverpool and two U15 strikers have gone to Man Utd. May just have been that we were short of strikers for the U18s.
That said, Rushian Hepburn-Murphy was an equally odd one last season.

Max Bardell was the regular U18 captain until he recently moved up to the U23s. I’ve just checked some recent U18 team lineups I bookmarked on Twitter from the Derby County Academy and they don’t usually specify who is captain, although I think Hugo Jinkinson may have taken over from Bardell.

I thought Lissah was a defender (RB) which wouldn't make sense if he was starting at DM (according to Soccerway). Considering Clarke has been our DM for the last 5(?) games, scoring twice, I'll be surprised if he isn't there today.
Reece Davies (on the bench) is a new name, leading me to believe it is actually Lissah on the bench instead of him.
Yes, it can be a bit hit and miss in real time but they usually get it right after a while. It took them a few days to correct Lissah on the bench (they originally had E Brown) for the last U18 game.

Not that I’m aware of. I’m filling on Soccerway although they have a slightly different lineup to the one @Ghost of Clough posted (although Soccerway do tend to make mistakes in real time which they correct later, sometimes a few days later).
I haven’t seen any official DCFC or DCFCAcademy tweets about this U18 game.
