The (what I assume are) top priced tickets at 42/- (£2.10) was a small fortune in 1946, but its still only the equivalent of about £90 at today's prices.
I bet £90 is the cheapest FA Cup final ticket now? For instance the ones priced at 3/6 (17.5p) would only be £7 in today's money, which would struggle to buy a dodgy hot-dog at Wembley.
