Yes. At first I thought anyone standing (in this area) couldn't impede the view of anyone preferring to sit (in this area), but then corrected myself, as I'd initially misunderstood. Hence my edit. Yes again... it appears it's the whole upper tear, so no other areas can have their view impeded. And thrice yes... The club are between a rock and a hard plaice, and there will be moaners... which I hasten to add doesn't include me, as it doesn't affect me. But @angieram is right... we've all known this for a good while now, so anyone sat in the SS has very little right to moan, imo. NIMBY, yer say?

I suspect a few may have been expecting this to take an eternity ("Never happen"), but now it's real, I can see a few moving out, as is their want of course... but I'm sure there'll be a longer list waiting to move in. 🍻🐏

Living locally, and moreover working even more locally (Off Ascot Drive) of a weekday mid-morning, I will be extremely disappointed in myself if I cannot wangle the hour off to come to stand by and wave goodbye to the friend I never met... and what better place to do so than outside his beloved home of DCFC. (I did wonder... but didn't like to ask/intrude... about the funeral arrangements, as it was always my intention to try and say goodbye to Daniel "in person"). *Given the seasonal temperatures, I may well be wrapped in a hoody or similar wussy garb, rather than a flimsy footy shirt, but rest assured, it will be a DCFC hoody, and it will bear the Ram proudly upon my chest. Daniel deserves no less. 🐏🤍

I'm intrigued as to how Mr A, sat in row N, will not have his view of the game impacted by Messrs B, C, & D stood in front of him, in row M. Left as is above, for clarity... but edited to add: I think I may have misunderstood that. You asked "Are we over defending". I took that to mean "Defending too much". I would describe "Defending too much"... with the emphasis on "too"... to infer that we failed. Failed to keep a clean sheet. Failed to retain a lead. Failed to keep hold of a point. Etc. I would argue therefore that, if we don't concede, we weren't defending "Too much". Whether we are clinging on by our finger nails, or offering up a defensive masterclass, we would have defended adequately if we didn't concede. I'm a simple soul, admittedly. 🐏

Is there a team out there that can remain on the front foot for the entire 90+ minutes? It's human nature to try even harder after going one goal down, so the oppo is gonna come at us after we take the lead. It doesn't mean we are consciously/deliberately "going defensive". That's not the same as "Being forced to defend, due to the oppos determination". Credit the oppo for not giving up (And hope we nick another on the break!). "Nearly conceding a goal" doesn't affect the scoreline, so that should be a moot point in this particular discussion.

I thought I'd lost my marbles for a few minutes, and that the ref/lino had given us a break! 🤣 In the end, it was great play (by both NML & TJJ), and good decisions all round (Including the officials). 👍🐏 EDIT: Was TJJ cupping his ear... or stroking his whiskers?
