Doesn't sound like he went to see Moxon then. Wonder if it's a cheeky loan for Dobra with a permanent contract and the end of the season?

If we are going to spend some money, personally I'd like to see us put a bid in for Macaulay Langstaff. 15 goals already this season puts to bed the 'One Season Wonder' concerns. Be interesting to see how much County would want for him mind.
Another good option would be Jake Young at Bradford, currently on loan at Swindon but due to be recalled. Only 22 and currently the League Two Leading Scorer (behind Langstaff). Think we'd be able to get hime at a decent price.
I also like Jodi Jones at County and think he'd provide good competition for NML. International Pedigree & also currently topping the Assists Chart in League Two.

Happy to come back at the end of season, and offer my hindsight-tempered opinions, but I ain't foolish enough to fall into this little trap!

I know we're only 10 games in but I think it's enough to determine what potential gems we've unearthed this season. Here's mine in no particular order:
1. Curtis Nelson - Shaky start but improved game after game and looks rock solid and assured at the back.
2. Ryan Nyambe - Only three games played but unbeaten in all three & looks easily a Championship Player. Can't believe nobody came in for him in the summer. Imperative we get him tied down to a long term contract.
3. Tyrese Fornah - Florist's loss is most definitely our gain. Growing in confidence game after game, technically gifted and also reads the game very well. Could be a mainstay in our midfield for few years.
4. Martyn Waghorn: Got to admit I was somewhat sceptical about his return but 5 goals already this season in less than 10 games proves me wrong. League One is most definitely his level at his age and I'm certain they'll be plenty more goals to come.

If we were looking for a RB who can play across a back 4 wouldn't either Ryan Nyambe or Steven Sessegnon be better options?
Both currently out of contract, both right side of 30 and both realistic signings for L1.
I totally get the need for having experience through the squad but we should also be looking long term. With this current model we'll be rebuilding the squad every two years with very little or no resale value to show for it.
Bonkers.

He’s a physical presence, to be sure, but goalscoring record is beyond horrific - at every level.
136 apps in League One and Championship - 22 goals. 11 in 72 in League One. Not to mention coming off an ACL injury.
Was going to mention him until I checked his stats on Wikipedia, awful for a forward and a bit of journeyman to boot.
Would rather have either Sharp or a young Prem / Champ loan over this chap...

Wouldnt sign any of them!
Neither would I, but unless we pay a fee or get somebody to terminate their contract that's all that's left!

Charlton can't be in for him surely? How many forwards do they need???
Worth taking a chance on him if the price is acceptable, him and Kemp have been on fire for Swindon this season
