I fear the puns and punners have lost their originality 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' /> Sometimes I like to pun and enjoy punning, sometimes I even laugh at some of the serial punsters but now it's just fish, birds, poo and sex...

We need some direction. We need punners who can find a pun and hold it up until support arrives. We need someone who can get 20+ original puns a season.

I am a punctillious pundit.

I've pundit right up to the peak.

I've punned on all and sundry

Topics each day of the week.

I don't like the rude puns,

The nasty and lewd ones,

Do nothing but bore me to tears,

But clever inventives,

And crafty incentives,

Can stick in my memory for years.

It's easy to pun

And it should be clean fun

To read them or not is your choice, see?

So vote yes in polls

And when the tell bolls.

LET'S KEEP THESE GREAT PUNS AND ODES, BOYCIE! 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wub' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Please don't ban me.

For me a pun as part of an on topic post is fine but I don't find them funny when they one line posts, repeated 4 times and make you think we have signed Conor Sammon

When I know a pun is coming it stops it being funny and they become annoying but whatever happens to the puns there will be unhappy people

Come on campers? Getting in a tizz about a few puns?

I enjoy reading the humour in threads.

And, the ladies of the forum have to put up with sexist comments all the time, so if you get rid of one, you have to get rid of the other.

As it is, us ladies are good sports, so we can put up with both. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

I have to concede a point made by the moaners. Some of the puns are recycled about 10 times.

Nijul cluffs "plenty more fish in the sea" post really does deserve a formal warning.

Not a ban just for bannings hake though.

Thanx for the like Boycie.

as you rightly say there's a plaice for everything. (Ling Ling, fish pun alert)

So if anyone wants to take his pike and try to knock us off our perch we can turn this into a right trout on salmon chanted evening.

(exit left singin "Whale meat again")

You will be herring from me again.
