Brammie Steve
I suppose it gives Middlesborough a chance to watch a top team and it does make sense to play a team with 10 top internationals and a real hunger for the game.

blackNwhites
Even though this is Brazils u-23's, they've still got some quality on their subs bench. Was hoping Paulo Henrique Ganso would start. That Emboabo Oscar has been rumoured to sign for Chelsea and has started ahead of him.
Brammie Steve
Deffo penno, but pity Neymar is such a wimp when he's so brilliant. Still, I think we're watching the Gold medallists so mustn't grumble. Just watch and be amazed!
-JW-
I hate the fact it is 'team GB'. It's not team Brazil or team USA. The sports governing bodies in this country are stupid.

Smyth_18
In a nutshell. Neymar went down like hed been shot after a tap on the neck. The commentators said England a few times. Riverside was more full than usual. Team gb was used too much. Oh and savage was wearing bright red trousers. All you need to know.

A positive.....Rutland is a brilliant goalie who captains the defence and is the reason Brazil failed to add to their lead in the 2nd half after he was brought on. ladyram
I watched a bit of it, what was the final score?
Brammie Steve
It ended as 2-0 to Brazil same as at half-time. This was all down to bringing on the Brummie goalie (Jack Butland, not Rutland, sorry) at half time. As well as some inspired saves, he never stopped shouting instructions to the defenders and changed the whole shape of the GB team. WE should get through in group one but I don't think owt higher than a bronze medal beckons. We'll probably lose the play off for a bronze medal at best. -JW-
That's Brazil's olympic squad, and the scary thing is it's twice as good as Englands first XI, yet we're ranked about 7 or 8 places higher than Brazil!!
