martin
I'm not sure if any of you guys ever liked the Derby band 'Cable' or not, I'm trying to start a bit of a campaign to get them to reform. Martyn
Cable were awesome! Most of my friends saw them live but I missed them and I'm pretty jealous about that. One of them could play one of their songs (I forget which) beat-perfect of one of those Tesco £9.99 plastic drum kits. It was a sight to behold! Brammie Steve
Reform, did they do community service? They were obviously wired for sound. (Pause for thunderous laughter) ..........................as usual not a sausage. But HARK!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just heard a lead balloon. Ramarena
Cable were awesome! Most of my friends saw them live but I missed them and I'm pretty jealous about that. One of them could play one of their songs (I forget which) beat-perfect of one of those Tesco £9.99 plastic drum kits. It was a sight to behold! Saw them at the old Garrick which is now the Mile I think, back in 1995 (I think). They were poor that day. Not long after, they came out with Freeze the Atlantic which was quality still listen to that track today. They had some other good stuff on When Animals Attack. Deffo one of Derby's better bands, although there's not much competition.
