Slaven Bilic has announced he is to become manager of Russian Premier League club Lokomotiv Moscow when Euro 2012 ends in early July.

The 43-year-old, who has been coach of Croatia since 2006, said: "I signed a three-year contract with Lokomotiv Moscow, which becomes effective once the European Championship is over.

"I'm happy and proud that I will join a big club, a big town and an extremely strong league."

According to local media reports, Bilic will be replaced by former Derby and West Ham player Igor Stimac.

Croatia are in Group C with defending champions Spain, Italy and Ireland for the European finals which start on June 8.

Meanwhile, another top Russian side - Spartak Moscow - have named former Valencia trainer Unai Emery as head coach.
