eddie
Just about stopped in earthquake-ravaged NW Festershire - mind you, the 'main event' isn't supposed to get here for some time yet. It appears to be snowing hard in a line from Brummigem down to Warwick (M42/M40 area) at the moment.
swansea ram
Stopped down here about 2 hours ago. Most of the roads are clear, only had about half n inch, all melting nicely. Only problem will be if it freezes tonight.
eddie
Snowing harder now in Festershire - dumped a couple of cm in the last half hour. Looking at the traffic cameras it doesn't look as though the belt of heavier stuff is that many miles across, so fingers crossed it might slow down in an hour. eddie
I reckon if Fester play tonight then we should tomorrow. Roads will be really bad getting away from the ground tonight They just said that it took the Boro players 2 hours to get the 2 miles from their hotel to the ground. Lazy gits - should have walked. Nearly empty stadium - it'll be like a home game for Middlesbrough.
