Smyth_18
Got back yesterday from 4 days in hospital and this is all that happened. Monday morning I woke up ready for a normal day at work, I put on a few extra layers and off I went on my scooter. I got to awsworth ( I work in sandiacre.) this is where I hit black ice, although I don't remember it I skidded onto the other side of the road and hit a car which dragged me up the street a short while with my leg stuck underneath. Turns out I was airlifted to the QMC. I have 6 fractures in my spine and I also had a bleed on the brain. I started walking very slowly on Wednesday and improving every day. As much as people knock it the nhs were brilliant. (with the odd mistake). I'm 20 years old and very lucky to be alive! Ps. Just a quick question. Do I have a hope in claiming compo as the road was ungritted and I was only going 20mph. Cheers guys. Up the rams.
