-JW-
The best part of christmas is seeing family members who you have not seen since last xmas and pretending that they are great company.
ladyram
I'm glad I don't have that problem JW - I don't get to see much of my family, so I'm really looking forward to it. The one thing I'm not looking forward to about Christmas this year is one of my sisters is emigrating to Oz, so I'm dreading that.

I wish.....it'd cost us a mortgage and half just to be able to afford the airfares. It's not just that, she's moving out into the sticks, which probably means about another day and a half's fookin travel, on top of almost 20 hours on a plane, with 2 stops. 1 I think is Dubai and the other 1 Singapore. She might aswell be going to live on the moon. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' /> Am fed up now. I shall get Dav onto getting that Skype thingy wotsit, that's the best I can do.
MrsRam
I'm with LR - 1st December for me. Standing on the bottom of MrRams ladder for half an hour whilst he puts the lights up outside. I too saw those baubles in the club shop today - (whilst paying £8.00 for a zip up jacket I was looking at the other week for £28.60 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' /> ) and have decided to get some. Spent a fiver on a pre-lit 3ft black tree from Asda - a few black and white baubles to make up the numbers - a tad of white tinsel and i'll be done. Dunno where it's going yet, but i'll post a photo when it's done. Loads of t.shirts in the club shop at the mo - 2 for £8. Old yellow away shirts £7 and some training tops and joggers - mostly small or xl. Zip up hoodies £8 - all sizes. Bargain.
MrsRam
And on the subject of skype - I use it all the time to talk to my sister - she lives down the road but hey ho.. Saves on phone calls and we just type summat whenever we think of it. I hate it if it sometimes goes off and I have to phone her.
Boycie
First week of December for me, having a Xmas tree up in November just seems daft. Went to B&Q earlier and loads of people walking out with trees and decorations, one kid even had a Xmas tree jumper on with flashing led lights, stupid. I simply don't believe you. You're telling porkie pies. It's, how you say, bullshite. Come on now, you went to B&Q?

ladyram
Have just got back from footie training with me young 'un, and I've seen 2 houses fully decked up. That's a touch much, even for me.
