Alph
Painful. Just painful. 10 players deserved a point. But i think Hodgson got a lot wrong.
sage
Would probably help if Jagielka and Lescott weren't tip-tapping the ball between themselves for 5 minutes before either of them attempts a forward pass. They have to have someone to pass to. Rubbish movement.
Alph
When is Kyle Walker back from injury? Thought he was on the bench? Problem then is Milner will have to attack more because Walker actually cares about defending.
StaffsRam
Not fooking soon enough. Ended up carrying far too many players tonight.

StaffsRam
They have to have someone to pass to. Rubbish movement. Multiple problems - rubbish movement, lack of invention, little urgency, even when we were 1-0 down.
-JW-
Gerrard is way past it, no idea why he still plays let alone be captain. Didn't see the last 10-15 minutes did it end 1-1 then? and why did Gerrard get sent off?

Alph
Drop Milner, play Adam Johnson. Drop Milner AND Johnson!!!? Madness!! What position did Johnson force Milner into? I don't know what to call this new area? Milner is now a right central attacking winger playing off the front man??

Alph
We can't be too harsh on England tonight they kept going with loads of relatively young players But it's the experienced players that looked confused. Gerrard & Lampard - asked to break up play and distribute to inventive players. Foreign role to both of them. Limits Lampard's spot on late charges into the box and Gerrards crossing (his strengths are in decline) Johnson - No interest in defending. Pushed Milner out of position Milner - who? Oh, the guy who didn't know where to play. So he didn't play. Liverpool, Chelsea, City a few experienced top level lads confused about their jobs tonight. Speak up lads. StaffsRam
How did Scotland and Wales end up in the same group? That would be like us getting San Marino and Timbuktoo in the same group. Jammy for the rest of the sides in that group.

Bris Vegas
The same problem when we had Brayford as an attacking RB and Lee Croft as a static RW.. It doesn't work, because everytime the RB moves forward there isn't any space behind the opposing fullback if the RW (Milner) doesn't cut inside, or doesn't hit the byline.. Milner is a defensive RW that can't cross very well (it's OK to be defensive if you can cross like Beckham).. People expect way too much of him, like he's gained a reputation for being some kind of terrorising winger (someone like Di Maria).. The problem he has is that Man City paid so much for him (his real value would be aound $8mill rather than the $20mill+) and that people think he should be far better than he is.. He offers good defnesive work in games against better opposition, against mediocre opposition like Ukraine he's going to look ****).. The whole of our rightside is just wrong.. The underlying problem with this England team is they simply lack the basic pass and move football that the best teams do at will.. Even those that aren't particularly high up in the rankings (Japan, Mexico, Chile, Belgium, Croatia, Colombia etc.) are far superior than England at basic pass and move football (something you need at International level)..
