Do you honestly think you can get out of this divisions by making 2/3 lower league signings every year and keeping the most average manager in Nigel clough.

Even if it is only the Gunter money that has been spent since the arrival of the Hasawis (which it clearly isn't) but 8 players for £2.3 mil would be bloody good business and show that the owners know what they're doing. So I don't know why you're trying to use it against us lol

If you compare, you spend £2m on a striker that could potentially do well in this league, we spend £200k on a player that could potentially do well. We sell a player for £1m, we buy another for £1m.

In summary, you over spend on potential and we spend wisely on potential.

The Kuwaiti "internationals" may have potential.

Or should that be potentates............

Gotta love scum fans;

They sign a Manager who's specialty is avoiding relegation (and got sacked when it was clear he wouldn't), who then goes off to sign mercenaries who are no better, and probably worse, than those signed by Portsmouth, and think they're going up.

Still, we should be grateful, beating them isn't half as much fun when they see it coming.

Wouldn't say it showed ambition though.

Ey? The mans got promotion out of two divisions.

And we haven't spent much money.

Hold on a second I thought we and Leicester should be grateful for such managers doubling money up the wall?

Make your ******* minds up sheep shaggers. Either we have zero ambition (like yourselves) or we are chucking money about recklessly (like Leicester).

No sensible middle ground?

Btw Derby must be the most boring club to support ever. Constantly stuck mid table being told 'it's ok this Crewe player will have us powering up the league'.

Your like a deluded Coventry. Worst than Coventry because you actually believe it.

At least with Forest we never have boring seasons. When we're **** were really ****, when were good we're really good!

Was one of them the Championship?

Or was he sacked with Doncaster rock bottom?

Are your new players playing for free? Considering that you couldn't even sustain the squad that you already had.....

We go up to the prem, come back down again. You go to League one, come back again. The two are comparible but the experiences differ.

I can see how you might think you're really good, having eventually won promotion more recently than ourselves (back to the championship) and having failed in two league campaigns to get back to the top league, if ya can call that a success.

Where has this 'constantly stuck in mid-table' b0ll0cks come from? 12th last year was the first season in God knows how many where we weren't involved in either a relegation fight or promotion push.

Crewe players - LOL, this coming from the muppets who signed Derbyshire, Greening, Miller, Boateng, Reid et al and thought they were going to walk the league. How did that work out for you?

Forest number of seasons in the top flight in this millennium = 0

Took them three goes to get out of the third tier FFS, and even then it was only because someone else fooked up on the final day.

When your ***** your relegated and when your good your not promoted and don't get a day at Wembley.

Sounds much more exciting.

Certainly quite succesful. As in, if at first you don't succeed, try and try again.

Wahoo! The new season is upon us, boy have i missed it; quietly optimistic but no doubt ill be bought back down to earth after the first 10 minutes tomorrow, lol. And by quietly optimistic, i dont mean that we will reach the play offs or promotion but im optimistic that we are finally going in the right direction and will see some good football back at the city ground!

So when Dawn says when Forest are ***** they're really ***** and when they're good they are really good he doesn't mean coming 3rd in the Championship, going to Wembley, winning promotion to the PL and the being the worst team ever to play in it.

He means being one of the worse teams in the Championship, getting relegated, getting done by Yeovil before finally scraping up, then finishing nowhere, then getting to play Blackpool and Swansea 4 times instead of 2. Then finishing nowhere again.

Supporting Derby has been a bit stale for a few years but Forest calling us boring is like Reid calling Commons 'fat'

No wonder Forest fans are a bit insecure about their 'exciting' times;

Since 2000 they've spent 9 seasons in the second tier, and 3 in the third tier.

They haven't made the last 8 of any cup competition - including 3 goes at the Johnstone's Paint trophy.

They've made the playoffs 3 times, and failed to get to Wembley on each occasion.

On the other hand, we've also spent 9 seasons in the second tier, and 3 in the top tier.

We've played Man Utd in the SFs of the League Cup.

We've made the playoffs twice, getting to Wembley once, and winning there at our first attempt.

Wish we were as 'exciting' as Forest. In years to come grandparents will no doubt regale their grandkids will stories of how they fought valiantly in the first round of the Johstone's Paint Trophy....and lost twice.

What I was saying is that under your latest ownership you will always be a boring club as your owners are content with mid table or lower finishes as long a it's not in the bottom 3... You're not going to get promote under your current owners and that's fact, they are happy with mid table, no ambition whatsoever.
