I`m proud of the British Empire for what it achieved although I wasnt born or involved during its glory days. Very much like these Forest fans and their European glory days. Football wise, I believe that Forest have a better squad, and of course Derby are performing better, as the League does not lie. As regards BD, sorry mate, NINE SIGNINGS and millions of moans later, he failed to do what Swansea and Norwich did with far less. On the contrary, I'd rank turning Forest into a half decent side as being a near-impossible achievement on Davros' part. Swansea have been a decent side since they came out of League One. Forest, were a shambles when Davros took over. It's taken less than a season to undo all that and you find yourself in largely the same position as when he took over to begin with. And as regards winning the last BC game, I wasn't here during the Double Win last season, and I honestly think we will, do you at PP, and if I didn't I wouldn't be a supporter. Pushing for the playoffs is a bonus. I doubt many seriously expected it. We're still in the middle of sorting out the financial mess of yesteryear. Fortunately, the academy's beginning to bear fruit - Ball has broken through, as has O'Brien and Hendrick. Next will be Hughes and Bennett. We've had an arduous 2/3 years, where large-scale change has had to be effected whilst trying to stay in the Championship. It's to Nigel's credit that we've pulled that off. We're coming out the other side of that journey now. You've yet to undertake it. God help you when you do. You'll then begin to realise just what an achievement Nigel's has been. The second time you were in it wasn't because you won the league, it was because you flipped a part-time side 1-0, after that part-time side had overcome numerous other backwater clubs on the way to the final. Probably an interesting thing to check, but I wonder if any other English side winning the European Cup ever had such an easy ride? Probably why seeding was introduced....!
