48 hours
Best Strike Partnership ?? Perhaps one of the best strike partnerships I ever saw, was Phil Boyer and Ted MacDougall when they played together at Bounemouth. MacDougall was subsequently bought by ManU - perhaps with hindsight they should have bought Boyer as well ?

mice_elf
Spent 6 years living in Brizzle in the Seventies, when 'Smash and Grab' were doing their thing for Brizzle Rovers - Warboys & Bannister. Your archetypal big bloke/little bloke striking partnership.
StaffsRam
Paul Goddard and Dean Saunders This. Was it Man Utd, where Saunders turned Bruce and burn't him off for pace, before clipping a cross to the backstick that was so good it completely took Leighton out and Goddard practically just leaned forward and nodded it into the empty net. One of the best goals I can remember. Gutted when we sold Goddard to Millwall.

blackNwhites
More of a front three wasn't it - Kitson, Johnson, Gabbiadini? I was going to say Gabbiadini, but the game that sticks out in my mind he wasn't playing...and was half joking although they were my first favourite players.
