CornwallRam
A couple of other message boards are suggesting there may be a big problem with Fielding. A club can only have a player on emergency loan for a maximum of 93 days. If a player does two spells at the club the two are added together. As Fielding has already done two months, c60 days, it would seem he can’t have too much longer to play. Other forums suggest that he will be ineligible after March. Maybe an explanation of why Matt Duke is here?
CornwallRam
Here's the rules http://www.football-league.co.uk/regulations/20100801/section-6-players_2293633_2125731#51 51.2.7 Except for the specific circumstances provided for in Regulations 51.2.9, 51.2.10 and 52, the minimum duration of any Emergency Loan and Youth Loan shall be 28 days and the maximum duration of an Emergency Loan is 93 days. The loan period is inclusive of the starting date and the finishing date.Youth Loans may not extend beyond the date of the Player's 21st birthday. 51.2.12 The cumulative total number of days of all Emergency Loans of one Player to the same Club may not exceed 93 days (unless extended by the Executive in accordance with the provisions of Regulation 51.2.10). davenportram
Here is the regulation concerned 51.2.12 The cumulative total number of days of all Emergency Loans of one Player to the same Club may not exceed 93 days (unless extended by the Executive in accordance with the provisions of Regulation 51.2.10). The 93 days can be extended by the League, could be the reason there was a delay in annoucing it - waiting for the Leagues agreement to extend the 93 days. What grounds could we use - the first time Fielding came we had both our first team goalkeepers unavailable due to injury and family reason. CornwallRam
If the rules mean anything surely the league would just say you have Duke, Atkins and Severn, can recall Bywater and the loan window is open until the 25th for you to add another so jog on? We also had no fit stikers at the end of December and Kuqi and Moore both went back.

Porter and Davies, coming back, Moore stayed until his loan expired and chose to go somewhere else. Kuqi went back in mid December with Moore still available. Come on do you really think it would be announced to the end of the season if the paperwork hadnt gone through properly. The football league will have people going though all the loans to check for this kind of thing.
MrOrdinary
Yeah this may be true but wasn't it practicky reported everywhere his loan was till the end of the season? Now vie heard dimples of making it permanent in the summer, this could be one reason why he is here longer. But Im sure it was reported he was here til the end of season. I'd get a link but honestly I can't be bothered to copy and paste
GboroRam
I doubt that the league scrutinise that much, but will rather batter you for getting it wrong afterwards. How many ineligible players have played in cup games, for the club to later be kicked out of the competition?

Team sheets arent sent to the league/FA for scrutiny before the game. They are presented to the match officials only. With transfers the paperwork is lodged with the league/FA for scrutiny before the deal goes through.

But imagine if the club sent the paperwork through and maybe got a phone confirmation to say it was OK and he was elegible for the next game. A couple of days later the full paperwork comes through the post and it says he can play until the end of March. What do you think the club would do, possible get another keeper in on loan quickly? Interesting to see what tomorrow brings. Seems to me that the rules say he has to go back, but it also seems to me that the rules say that we couldn't nake six loan players in the sqaud but we did on Saturday and that appears to have been fine. Maybe the rules are subject to a lot of different interpretaions?
davenportram
The number if loans thing is a non issue. Bueno doesn't count towards the five in a matchday squad. A fact that has been reported several times thus season.
davenportram
Also when you lodge the paoerwork fir a lian you have to give the loan term and a contract for the period of the loan. The comfirmation from the league would be that the term of the loan were okay.

Lets look at this board ain't shy about reporting things and then make them self look titos the same day. Remember the one from Jan We have signed Liverpool Centre Half Daniel Ayala till the end of the season, beating a number of clubs. Then on the same day only a matter of hours after Oh by the way we may have signed him but he is not coming or playing yet because he is injured but we are told he will be as soon as possible. Therefore if this was true this would have been done by now instead of reporting till the end of season. Also Blackburn would be letting people know as it is has been rumoured we are looking at buying him

Stive Pesley
Still 3 games without Bywater is better than 3 games with. I see he was in scintillating form for cardiff on Saturday! Bullard must love him!

Bullard said in the paper, they were good mates when they were at West Ham together, although Bywater didn't speak to him after Saturdays match - lol
MrsRam
Nigel said on Radio Derby that they knew he could only play until the end of March . There is some sort of 'extenuating circumstances' rule or something but he said Duke will play the remaining games. He then went on to say we got Frank in, looking to sign him permanently in the summer. Season ticket anyone???
