What TV/Video subscriptions do you pay for?

Recommended Posts

Currently, my Netflix is rolled into Sky at £4 per month and that's it.

I've moved from one AppleTV trial subscription to another, rarely not having it when I want to watch something (although our latest one expires tomorrow).

I've done cheap trials on ITVX and Paramount+ to watch specific programmes but always then cancelled.

We do have Amazon Prime, but I dropped the paid element because we rarely watch it, and now we never do.

I'm pondering YouTube Premium and even Disney because I think we'd like The Bear—but whereas I can get two months free with YT, Disney no longer offers trials and I can't see anything else I'm arsed about.

I know some of you are rascals and borrow services, but for those of you paying, what for, and is it worth it?

Sky Signature, Sky Sports, Netflix and UHD. That and (slow) fibre BB is atm, just increased to £73/month was £63/month. Oh and it's Sky Q not Stream. Needs negotiating in October, not looking forward to that as the above is what we use/watch.

But Now TV have Sky Sports subs and other BB companies are available, although not many as we're in the countryside. Amd Netflix is just a cheapy add-on atm.

My father was an ardent socialist but enjoyed reading articles in the conservative newspaper and so he bribed my stepmom to become a subscriber.

I have a strict policy of not paying for anything online.

Mrs ramit has a Netflix account, I mow the lawn.

Now TV, Netflix and Amazon Prime (although my wife pays for that).

I watch a fair bit on things like ITVX but only the free versions. Do you get that much more, other than less/no adverts with the paid for version?

As far as I know, it is just the ad-free bit. But I could be wrong.

But when there are 18 minutes (I think) to sit through, I cannot do it. I'd honestly rather not watch.
