GuiseleyRam
Just uploaded the latest article to the Derby County Memories website - the Rams in the Channel Islands. For those who have not seen the website before, we write about memories of the Rams through history and memorabilia. https://www.derbycountymemories.co.uk/the-rams-in-the-channel-islands I have heard that in the St Martin's friendly in Jersey in May 2001, their goalkeeper may have scored directly from a kick out of his hands. Did anyone go who can confirm this? Inverurie Ram and LeedsCityRam 1
Neil Giannoni
The keeper was Marc Stanton. He did not score directly from a goal kick. St. Martins did actually take the lead. My daughter was a mascot for the Rams Alan Ramage 4 EVA, uttoxram75 and Inverurie Ram 2

Rev
St Martins took the lead, due to a well drilled offside trap relying on muscle memory imparted during WW2.

He certainly is, and I’m all sure we’d love to see him many more times in the Brunswick and all the other wonderful Derby drinking establishments, but we don’t want to see him with his chef gear on!
